Only read Infinity #4 and damn I knew Black Bolt would pay for that disrespect he showed to the gawd last issue.
I actually liked how BB only used his voice knowing it was his only chance instead of trying to box wit gawd.. Although he got worked over it was more a testament to Thanos' durability and strength.

Oh and that Thor scene:gladbron::ohlawd:. Yea you saw it coming a mile away but the execution was flawless.

Now can we actually see some cosmics put in some work? Gladiator and crew really gonna jus sit and let cap and the Avengers do all of the heavy lifting?

WTF are they doing over at Marvel???:why::mindblown:

:upsetfavre::upsetfavre::beli::beli:

Why exactly would Carnage need guns?

And anybody read Afterlife with Archie? It was actually a pretty good read. Zombie Jughead was putting in work eating up the good people of Riverdale.

.Archer and Armstrong was so good that it felt too short. I was MAD AS HELL that the issue ended.

Avengers A.I. would be a better book.... if they got a better artist. Sometimes I feel like you can tell when Marvel (comics in general) don't give a shyt about a book by the quality of the artist nowadays. Them Vertigo days is long gone. Which brings me to..........

HORRIBLE art shift in Avengers Arena. Just when I was starting to give a shyt.

Captain America features.... TEH FALCON! :gladbron: Then they fly around the city and Cap bursts into tears.

Constantine's fukked. I dunno. Maybe because I discovered an affinity for the character, marathon read the entirety of the last series in a month and then it got cancelled 2 months later, but I'm really not bothered by the art or the lack of "mature themes" (re. overt showy comic magic in place of demons and rituals). I'll be stickign with the character until they use him up.

Eternal Warrior was eh.... I'll give it some time, though. Almost seemed like two different writers. This issue felt like a Harlequin novel without the romance or soft porn.

edit: :whoa: not that I've read any Harlequin novels to know....

Bane's gonna unify the city, then Bats is gonna smite him. It'll be entertaining, though.

Suicide Squad.... why they gotta do this to Steel?

Uncanny X-Force (which I still open expecting to see Cable): Mmmmm... Spiral. As soon as that chick said the Revenants were once called Mummudrai, I KNEW. :gladbron::ohlawd::wow: They were way too calm about it, though. But then... None of them have any experience with that, do they?

Still like World's Finest. I need to grab Wonder Woman/Superman.

Can't say anything about Battle of the Atom that hasn't been said. I'm HELLA confused now though and intrigued enough to keep reading. Not that I was gonna stop, but still.

Manhattan Projects was craaazay. :bryan:

Unrelated: I FINALLY read Universal War One, a little known French limited series that Marvel translated and published a while back. Pretty standard time travel sci fi stuff. Felt like Doctor Who.... without The Doctor. I had been trying to track it down for a while now. I wasn't disappointed.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand that's all I got for this week. :yeshrug::smugbiden::salute:

while I'm here.....

...
So, every September is going to be “sweeps week” for DC Comics now it seems. New 52 launch, Zero Month, Villains Month
So what’s for 2014?

The New 52 is meant to take place five years after Superman emerges.

Well, next September, according to comic professional chatter on the comics convention circuit which has just reached me, it is currently being planned that all books will skip forward, for a month, another five years into their future.

And just as One Year Later launched the weekly book 52, so Five Years Later will launch a DC weekly book, with creators that I’m told include Greg Rucka, Brian Azzarello, Dan Jurgens, Robert Venditti and more, set in that world. (UPDATE: Not Greg Rucka… though someone would really like him to be. But a current DC comics creator gets in touch to say “Not Rucka or Venditti. But you didn’t hear it from me.” I certainly didn’t! But it it does seem to confirm that something of this order is occurring…)

Now this is just a plan. Plans gang aft agley. There have been planned weeklies before. I’m not sure when any of this will be announced, NYCC seems too early, but there could be teasers. Also watch for references in upcoming comic books to that date “it isn’t ready yet, but it will in five years time”, “you are to serve time in jail, five years, no parole”, that kind of thing.

(UPDATE: It’s been pointed out that in Forever Evil #2, when triggering the Bizarro clone, Lex Luthor said it would have been ready in five years…)

The Legion Of Superheroes went through this same thing a few years ago. Say, does that mean Justice League 3000 is going to skip forward to Justice League 3005 for a month? And just how much will the five year future resemble that of Twilight Of The Superheroes?

Welcome to the future, New 52…

Do you like crossovers? Do you like crossovers that are 18 issues long? If you answered yes to both those questions, I have good news for you.

Announced over at DC’s Blog, it looks like while “Forever Evil” goes on throughout the DCU the Justice League Dark books will be wrapped up in an 18-part crossover running through “Justice League Dark,” “Phantom Stranger,” “Constantine” and “Pandora”.

Entitled “Forever Evil: Blight” and running alongside “Forever Evil” up to the climax, the crossover follows Constantine and the alt-Leaguers and Trinity of Sin going up against an entity called Blight, who is apparently the physical manifestation of evil created by the Crime Syndicate’s invasion of Earth. Constantine, who refuses to believe his teammates are dead, will lead Swamp Thing, Nightmare Nurse and more against Blight in order to rescue Zatanna from wherever she is.

Here are the issues that will be involved in the crossover:

PART 1 – JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK #24
PART 2 – JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK #25
PART 3 – TRINITY OF SIN: THE PHANTOM STRANGER #14
PART 4 – CONSTANTINE #9
PART 5 – TRINITY OF SIN: PANDORA #6
PART 6 – JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK #26
PART 7 – TRINITY OF SIN: THE PHANTOM STRANGER #15
PART 8 – CONSTANTINE #10
PART 9 – PANDORA #7
PART 10 – JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK #27
PART 11 – TRINITY OF SIN: THE PHANTOM STRANGER #16
PART 12 – CONSTANTINE #11
PART 13 – TRINITY OF SIN: PANDORA #8
PART 14 – JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK #28
PART 15 – TRINITY OF SIN: THE PHANTOM STRANGER #17
PART 16 – CONSTANTINE #12
PART 17 – TRINITY OF SIN: PANDORA #9
PART 18 – JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK #29

The point of the story being: if you are loving “Forever Evil,” DC is going to ramp that into overdrive and turn the knob up to 11 for you! If you aren’t, well, roll the eight-ball, try again later and come back in April.

Its the event following the conclusion of Hunger next week, Galactus makes it to earth. All the Ultimate books tie in to it

The great thing about this upcoming event for me is that we don't know if UU will survive this event
Dawg I just looked this shyt up :why:

So Galactus from the regular Marvel (616) made his way into the Ultimate universe. nikkas crossing universes AGAIN? (Big Time)

Joe Quesada has reiterated his earlier claim that the two universes will not cross over as that would signify that Marvel had "officially run out of ideas"
What happened to that shyt??? :beli:

Again wtf is going on over at Marvel?

But all of this wierd shyt is news to me. My friend told me about Infinity. I might start reading it

EDIT: I know that Hulk is all but ruined right now, but they've been ruining that nikka since 2008 :manny:

Well for one Joe Q isn't and hasn't been editor for a while now. It is funny to me how sometimes people still blame him for shyt. He did a good job of making himself the face of the company (and a much more liked figure than that piece of shyt Didio).

As for Galactus getting the boot to the Ultimate Universe, they kind of had to do that in order Hickman's New Avengers story to play out. If Galactus had found out about the incursions he would have eaten earth right then and there.
