Nobody.who ended up defeating them?
They sicced their own new version of a Sentinel on the X-Men that attacked Utopia at the same time that Wolverine and Cyclops were fighting like two hoes. And all the while the Hellfire Daycare was sitting on the mainland watching everything while eating popcorn.
Then the last time we saw them they were chilling on a beach drinking little kid drinks gloating about how they were running shyt.

The Hellfire Babies was a Jason Aaron creation and I honestly don't remember what he did with them after the Schism event series.

X-Men 4 was definitely Hickman's best issue post HoX and PoX. He definitely looks like he's enjoying writing Magneto and Apocalypse.
My biggest gripe is looks like all of the character development we got for Scott over the past 20 years is gone. He's back to being a glorified soldier who just follows orders.
I would've much preferred him on the silent council than Jean....

That was never the real Cyclops...he went right back to boy scout mode once Jean returned. All th he Magneto 2.0 stiff where he was banging Emma and ordering X force around wouldnt be possible if Jean was alive.

Marvel Comics has released a teaser for writer Jonathan Hickman and artist R.B. Silva's X-Men #5, which reunites the Powers of X creative team for a story that will lead directly into Hickman's future plans for the X-Men franchise going forward.
The teaser features X-23, Synch and Darwin with the caption, "A special team of mutants assemble for a mission into the unknown!"

X-23 is a clone of Wolverine. She took on the Wolverine mantle following the Death of Wolverine miniseries that resulted in Logan's death. Synch is a former member of Generation X that is one of the many mutants resurrected by The Five. As his codename indicates, he can duplicate the powers of any super-powered being he is around. Last but not least is Darwin, who was part of a secret team of X-Men revealed in X-Men: Deadly Genesis. Darwin has the mutant ability to adapt to any situation.
