You are moving the goal post. In the flash continuity post crisis and before new 52 when Wally west was flash him and Jay were still called the flash.

Shi was the only book selling at Crusader Comics(the indie publisher). I think they went out of business in like 2002. I couldn't even find a wiki page.

I am trying to show you that the same regulation of miles that upsets you is the same thing that happens to characters you have named. During the new 52 Wally West was the flash did Jay exist yes, was he called the flash yes but was he considered the fastest man alive, No. What is the point of having the title if you are not giving the respect associated with said title. Miles is not spider-man, as long as peter is alive especially in the 616 where peter is already iconic. He will always be regulated to the background, if they were serious about miles being spider-man he would be headlining Amazing Spider-man like Ben Reilly did in the 90s. Green Lantern is a military corps, but Hal is the primary green lantern he is giving the most shine despite being the worst of the human lanterns.
