i hear you but i dont have the mentality for it anymore. i herniated a lumbar disk twice in my early-mid 20s and it just aint worth the risk now. the highest i'll deadlift nowadays is 375 and the most i'll squat is 315. Nowdays i feel i have nothing to prove. Before COVID i was fine doing a standard 315 deadlift for 8 reps . 225 bench 8 reps...and squating like 315 5 repsAsante were the same age breh were in our primes

of course. i never cared to go higher for flat bench but that 285 was light. I would could do 3-5 reps of it if i recall correctly. One thing I will say, is i aint the most flexble (cant even cross my legs) so I would not touch the bar with my chest....but i'd bring it low enough so that my arms were past a 90 degree angle. perhaps that disqualifies meWith form

nope. i've heard a belt is crucial past a certain pt. and i dont use a mixed grip for deadlifts either. apparently mixed grip makes it easier?Do you use a belt?
