Thanks breh. :salute: Are these near the English Bay area or nah?

ETA: Any Vancouver brehs here? What is a good cab company?
All the cab companies have terrible reviews. Scust.

Cabs ain't great but a lot of bad reviews come from it being a hassle to get drivers to go out to the burbs, just moving around downtown aint much issue, around $15-20 fare to go one end to the other

They might not be broke but they sure as hell can usually stretch their money further than here in the US. I think we can agree on that. I don't have no problem with it just seems like you can and people do (me included) have no stress here also. I'm not opposed to trying something new though
I understand what you are saying, but he isn't saying you CANT live a stress free life in the states, its just takes a lot more to maintain than in other places.. Like

Nah you got exactly what I was getting at. That's exactly what I was saying and the main reason I think people feel more stress free over in them other places because of that mainly. I never said or didn't mean to if I did say you can't live a stress free life in the states. It just seems that's how a lot of cats make it seem when IMO its just a matter of making money to be comfortable where you are because if you do the same things over here with the right amount of money most would be pretty stress free here too for most people.

Public transportation wise it's pretty easy, hop on a Canada line train that goes towards the airport, like a station or two before the airport there's a stop by the casino called Bridgeport, from there you can hop on a bus that goes right to the ferry, overall should take about 1-1.5 hours

If you were to take a cab or car service you're looking at a $100+ fare/45min drive

Been lookin at apts for weeks......can stay in copa for a month for 1400 and I've been seeing sub 800 plane tickets

I wish this was happening 5 years from now, I'm not ready yet :francis:

1 month in Copa is just :mindblown: I seen places in Barranquilla Colombia for $600 for the month, really nice apartments too. I'll post the one from AirBnB that has great reviews.

Yea post that up. I been thinking of trying to spend a month or two in a spanish speaking country next year for immersion purposes, obviously wouldnt need an apartment for that but wherever I go I'm looking at any potential long term prospects. Colombia definitely one of the places I'll consider

All of these are for the entire apartment, there are cheaper places in Medellin, Bogota and Cali as well. I notice it's a lot of white people (foreigners) that own spots on AirBnB.

$1400? Man, if u don't care about your living conditions like that and wanna experience cheap favela living close to Copa :mjpls: u can stay in Rocinha for like $150 per month (I think that was even over-inflated but I wasn't gonna haggle for that cheap). This is where I was staying at the summer of 2012. Better than a hostel, had the place to myself and wifi. Back then the exchange rate was 1.70-1.80 reais to $1. I really coulda been living it up right now :snoop:

Or u need to spit that ism and live with a Brazilian chick for free like I did for 1 month in Sao Paulo :whew:
