I don't blame you for staying, Costa Rica has been winning the happiest place on earth survey for like 10 years now.
Slower life, less work, better weather, friendly people, low ass cost of living for such a beautiful place........

So upon furthur review Medellin seems like the better choice for a young single black man such as myself.. i plan to stay atleast a week, I may have 1-2 other people with me, idk my boys aint about this travel life tho, i do want to get like a penthouse hotel suite tho just cause. I feel you on the laid back stuff but all the "reviews" from doing my googles say Cartegena is mad expensive and hot, they say thats were you go to chill or take your girl, they also say its touristy and aint nobody got time for that..I never been to Medellin, I went to Cartagena/Barranquilla/Santa Marta, I chose the northeast because I was told that's where the black Colombians lived and it was right on the water, whereas Medellin is landlocked. I heard Medellin is dope though, but I'm more of a laidback dude.
Learning some Spanish would help breh, unless you can pipeline and find a female that speaks English and will show you around. How long you want to stay? Hostel will allow you to stay longer, hotel will allow you to smash freelyand the vacation home is best if you're going with a group.
Medellin is dope from what I've heard, the penthouse ish means you'll be bleeding money, just go on Airbnb and look for nice apartments that people are renting out for a week or two (Look in El Poblado).
Cartagena is expensive, but you can stay in Santa Marta or Barranquilla to get around that.

I was in Atlanta last week for 5 days. The city itself isn't anything special, but the people are so sweet. I had a cool, laid back experience. It wasn't all that warm

Just got back from a week in panama again (8th time or so goin there) rented a beach while i was there went to the inner part of the country this time which i usally dont do, slept on spot like i been sayin for years, heres a few pics with a new point n shoot cam i bought

yes , its like that in most of south america but lot more so in panama because its a big foreigner haven . Its everywhere, there are three types
- Street walkers - just your normal average broads looking to making a buck walkin the street, A LOT of trannys are street walkers
- Casino/club hookers - chicks that work strickyl the casino and clubs, they look and act like a normal chick and will come flirt with you and act all good, soon as you get her back to the hotel $$$
- Small/major brothels & massage parlors - these places range from small whore house to your medium size place sorta like Amsterdam where they got the girls in the front window and you pick a chick out to your large couple of hundred an hour setups where u get a full room with bed, sofa, wifi , flat screen etc
Funny story like on like my 3rd trip there am leaving a casino/hotel like 3am , outside waiting for a ride when a stretch hummer limo pulls, breh i shyt you not about 20 dimes 10/10 spanish broads hop out, right behding them about 10 jacked dudes all wearing WWF t-shirts

depends , anywhere from $20 for 30 min or 1 nut in your low end spot or with a street chick to a couple of hundred dollars an hour for the high end places

For me personally, before when I was single I didn't have a nice gig or money to travel and do a whole lot and ever since I've had the financies to do so I've been with my girl. I love her to death but I haven't had the ability to do me for a while since I've had a little money.
