See if you can do both. I've heard the beaches there are absolutely amazing.

I hear it’s basically New York City in Africa, a concrete jungle with not much to see once there.dope. Why no Casablanca?
Heading out to Singapore in April. Not sure to do a stop before landing there or do the new nonstop service from Newark. 18 hours though
I have. It’s pretty much designed to compete with the Spirit, Icelandic, WOW and RyanAirs of the world (aka budget airlines) You pretty much get the bare minimum, which is usually just a flight and depending on the airline, a carry on bag. You can’t preselect your seat before the flight (well you can, but for a fee). You’ll usually be assigned whatever seats are left over, middle seats. And you’ll usually be last to board.
I think Basic Economy is good for what it’s worth, especially for quick trips (<4 hours) or flights you can sleep through. It’s also good for weekend trips. My last trip to Europe (end of summer 2018) was Basic Economy with British Airways. I only came with a carry on and I pretty much slept the entire flight for both legs. With travel, I like to spend more money while at Point B, not on getting from Point A to B. I can forgo $200 on my ticket and spend that at my destination, especially if my destination is cheaper than the US.
I love Singapore, literally I had so much fun there. I stayed just off Orchard Rd there when I went in 2016.
Brazil in February. Finally
This is a pro tip.
And to be honest, the upgrades aren't really worth it for trips under 4 hours anyway. Business/1st Class really only get dope on international flights and VERY long domestic flights (like Boston to LA nonstop). Spend that extra $200 plus on some nice meals at your destination or a nicer hotel.
Hey, travel brehs.... I need your help in selecting a rewards card. What I'm basically looking for is no foreign transaction/ATM fees with decent rewards, whether in cash back or redeemable travel mileage.
There are 2 limitations..... It cannot be from Chase(I'll be denied on spot) and my credit score is somewhere between 650-700(actually closer to 700), so it will have to be with someone who'll accept a high 600 credit score.
I've looked at the Capital One Quicksilver and the American Airlines AA Advantage cards. What other options do I have?
This, if you’re worried about acceptance abroad then those are the best. Discover gives great lines of credit for subpar scores but acceptance isn’t as wide as visa/master. You can forget about Amex abroad as well unless you are staying in a g20 country.I have the AMEX Platinum but if you go international alot then get something thats Visa or Mastercard because I’ve had instances where AMEX is not accepted.
