as much as possible, outside of the hotels alot people know very little english. I was using google translate but it sometimes slow trying to get your point across.
How much Portuguese do you figure I’ll need to know? I know like close to zero. I always figured I could pick up faster when actually on ground.

I’ll be local this December but I’m looking to head to Nigeria and Ghana before I start my next role.

Yeah, the country has a lot of beauty. My guy who's from there takes me around to see the gems.Colombia is dope from what I’ve heard. When I do my Latin American tour it’ll be Brazil and Colombia.
I’m from Nigeria so I have a family home there. I also got family in Ghana but I’d still probably get an Airbnb. Been to Ghana before but like 6 years back. Gotta see hoe the country has progressed.

I have some family who traveled to Ghana and told me their really welcoming in there. When my uncle touched, he said the first thing they said to him was "welcome home". I rate that you know.
They also said visiting the door of no return was really emotional for them and you can feel the bad energy left there.
I wanna touch Togo,i grew up listening to my boys mom telling me bout her home. Also we did a DNA test and majority came from that region. Togo/Benin.Everywhere in Africa is welcoming. Only issues you may have is the culture shock of the poverty in some areas. As long as you are humble and have street smarts you’ll be fine.
I’m thinking about doing Ghana in 2020
