I wanna touch Togo,i grew up listening to my boys mom telling me bout her home. Also we did a DNA test and majority came from that region. Togo/Benin.

You African?

My parents are from Liberia.

I will say the customer service in some places can be lacking, not because they dont like you but just because more emphasis is placed on the product than the service in some places (a cultural thing more than anything). Similar to what we experience from black folks in America often.

Was supposed to go to curaçao but I got guilt tripped into going on a family vacay in two weeks and mofos ain’t even book nothing yet:francis:
That sounds exactly like my main group of friends. Everytime i wanna do something they always flop or say no. But get mad when I travel with my other friends.

Or we end up going on a trip and fukkery happens:mjgrin:

Passport gang, any movements this December?

I’ll be local this December but I’m looking to head to Nigeria and Ghana before I start my next role.

Looking at Cape Verde at the moment. Choice between a resort style experience
filled with tourists or flying to the island over and choppin it up with locals and
soaking up the culture.

Its stickied to the top. I might abandon it though because. The coli hates Africa so folks will never go there so the thread is really just me ans 1 and 2 other people actually contributing.

@the bossman
Official Continental Africa Travel Thread.

I don't it's that people hate Africa, I just think the travel industry on the continent is not as thoroughly fleshed out as say Europe, S. America or Asia so for some, it may be too big of a jump out of their comfort zone. I'm Nigerian and have lived in Nigeria so I know how to navigate on the continent. If you can move in Lagos, you can move in any other city on the continent. Facts.

Add to the fact that there's a lot of travel to do within the US. Also, travel costs money. I mean even this thread was dormant for a month before I posted an update.

I'm all for African travel, especially as a black person. There are enough cities where one can enjoy themselves for cheap, while getting a great history lesson. Accra, Jo'Burg, Lagos, Kampala, Nairobi, Praia, Dakar, Abidjan etc. There's a little something for everyone.

See if you can do both. I've heard the beaches there are absolutely amazing.

Lol nah, black people on the coli want nothing to do with Africa. Just look at TLR threads on anything that has to do with the continent.

Felt at home in Morocco, don’t know why anyone wouldn’t want to at least travel to Northern Africa where it’s developed nearly as well as Europe.

TLR is not a good barometer for general Coli sentiments imho. TLR has been looking real funny in the light the past 12-14 months.

Morocco is cool from the pics I've seen. I'm more of a S.Saharan Africa kind of dude. I could see myself in Morocco with a significant other, however.
