Im going to denver for a job orientation. What are some cool spots to hit up there:youngsabo:

What exactly are you trying to do? I'm from there, I can let you know some things, but I need to know what kind of stuff you're into.

I was in Thailand during rainy season, it didn't rain too much. I think Tanzania would have more to offer than Egypt.

I'm headed to thailand next month. How was it? I've never been to Asia so I don't know what to expect :lupe:. I'll be there for two weeks. I don't want to stay in Bangkok the whole time. Do you suggest doing a guided tour or could I manage by my onesie? Where else do you suggest to go? Any tips are welcomed

How was Denmark? What all did you do? Is it super expensive? I always see deals there but Scandinavia is sooooo much money! When I went to Stockholm my pockets cried the whole time. I've got to budget travel for these next few years lol.

And you've got to go to the Netherlands. One of my favorite countries. Of course amsterdam is great (and not just for hookers and weed lol), but then you should road trip to Maastricht and then drive to Germany. Stop in trier which is supposedly the oldest city. There's old roman ruins and you can hike by the mösel. Then you can drive to Munich, Berlin, etc. not a long drive either abd the autobahn is :ahh:.

I have family in Denmark so I was with them mostly...but they have nice cities Copenhagen and Aarhus and it's not far from Germany if you want to drive , lots of old castles, architecture stuff if you're into that, tivoli gardens in Copenhagen is a nice amusement park

Also lots of museums

Everyone loves Thailand..... but it depends on what you are going for. I definitely suggest a tour of the islands (James bond,etc..) go snorkeling jet ski, and whatever else you can think of. I went to Bangkok, pattaya and Phuket. I heard Chang mai is better than Bangkok but Phuket is a good place to start.

Did you need an entrance visa for Thailand or China? How hard was it to navigate Shanghai (assuming you dont know how to speak Mandarin). Been eyeballing Shanghai and Hong Kong since the wife wants to visit the Disneyland parks there.

You need a visa if you plan on staying in China for less tha 3 days...so for you, yes get oe. The easier thing for you would be hong kong. But disneyland there is sub par i hear. So go get that chinese visa. Thailand, no VISA needed. Shanghai like any major city is easy when u understand the subway system as with anywhere else in the world. The english there is bad compared to anywhere else. Ill go into more detail when i have time, fell asleep

I know the Disneylands there are subpar but the wife wants to ko all of the parks since we have been to every one of them except China. I knew you didnt need one for Thailand, weird that you need a visa for a less than 3 day vacation there lol. After figuring out Tokyo, Paris, & London I feel like I can navigate any system now since all 3 cities are different in overall design but I dont think I will see any system different than one of the 3 Ive already conquered. Thanks for the advice on the Visa requirements though. :salute:

@Spence just to clarify. You need a visa if u plan on staying beyond 72hrs
Oh ok. I was wondering wth country would care if you were staying LESS than 72 hours. I think I'll fly in and out of Hong Kong since they are more friendly to us Americans and probably don't require any entry visas
