Gary Dauberman was already attached to write the script and now he's going to be directing the movie as well.

When the remake was announced last year Dauberman said the following to Slash Film:
"I haven’t seen a scary vampire movie in a long, long time and I’d really love to tackle that."

I enjoyed Annabelle Comes Home (his directorial debut) so I'm pretty intrigued to see what Dauberman will do with this now that he has so much control over it and based on his comments about wanting to see a scary vampire movie.

Came in here for this. I agree with everything you said. Not familiar with the cats directing and writing the new hellraiser

David Bruckner directed The Ritual was I really enjoyed.

He did the Amateur Night segment of VHS which I thought was one of the better installments of that movie.

And he directed The Accident segment in Southbound which I thought was decent.

Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski wrote Super Dark Times which I liked.

That "Porno" joint is out.

they got a few horror joints that recently popped up.

This one joint called "Easter Holocaust" which i might watch strictly off this sentence alone...

"It's Easter once again, and a demonic form of the Easter Bunny has risen to wreak havoc upon a small town. "

:pachaha:

Ironically, I think the Easter Bunny from Holidays is one of the creepiest damned horror designs in recent history. :mjlol:

Parasite was great - so many layers to that movie. I don’t know who to feel the most empathetic or sympathetic for; that’s hard to pull off.
Damn hard balancing act to do but Bong pulled it off and made it look easy as hell. Dude has been a legend and deserves all the flowers he’s getting right now

That movie was executed flawlessly. The horror, tragedy and comedic elements were just the right mix. That ending
:picard:
Their little son sensed something was off before the parents did (as little kids usually do) and they didn’t pay attention to him bc they thought he was having mental issues bc of the “ghost” when in reality ..the first clue was “the smell”.

Like every horror movie, the kids are the first to know and the adults always ignore

I saw that movie Thriller on Netflix :ehh:

For a low budget film it had quite a few names. I mean its not "good" but Not a terrible watch for what it is. . Prom Night vibes.
