So...this was mid, but warrants a shout out.
Get Away starts off as one part satire and one part "foriegn places are creepy" tropes. But it has some Nick Frost dry humor thrown in. It's pretty dry with hints of a gory side, until about 2/3's through...then it tweaks the formula and throws everything into pure chaos. The gore combined with the humor makes for a final act that I found entertaining enough to give this a shout out, particularly because I could see people getting bored and turning it off due to impatience.
So...not great. But worth a "I'll give it a shot" if you're looking for new horror with comedic focus.
