Hatchet has to be the most underrated series of movies, imo - he never gets the billing that Michael, Jason and (Freddyyou stumbled across Leslie Vernon!

I did expect homeboy to turn on her once she killed moms but I did not think it was real. I thought they were all crazy and just believing bullshyt. Then they all exploded 
I really believe in those “make a deal with the devil and he wants his due” concepts - oaths and sacrifices. Looking at these prominent families irl, i.e., the Kennedy’s, Ford, Rockefeller, Winchester -all price payers in one form or another.

i was not expecting her “husband” to turn on her at all. He did say to his mom that he would choose his wife over her. I thought he would turn and use the knife on one of his relatives, not her! I had a feeling the curse was true bc there was a mention about the family that lived next to them had all perished in a fire so I knew that wasn’t coincidence. But the explosions of spontaneously combusting and their son shooting her hand- I was not ready 
There will be a Ready or Not 2 - I have a feeling. Different family and set of circumstances but the original premise of the movie will be the same.Yeah the ending threw me for a loop

I hope so. I wasn’t expecting to be as nasty as it was in the gore department. Not evil dead remake level of gore but still pretty damn good

Just watched Henry portrait of a Killer for the first time. Pretty cool from an amateur perspective some of the shots they did with the handheld. Otherwise, also interesting how much of a downer ending it is when you consider what it’s trying to say about an audience acting out voyeurism on evil. The audience, the killer and the camera medium. Peeping Tom ties in yet again
Anyone else watching “Evil” in CBS all access or is it just me?
Came up in my reccs. Watching the first ep now, kind of creepy. I’ll give it a few eps to see where this goes. Something that I would expect on Fox not CBS. Serial killers and Exorcisms, demon possessions.

Crazy that no one is talking about it.
I’m only 30 mins in to the first episode and I legit jumped twice already.
Right now I’m getting an XFiles (Luke Cage as the demon expert v his unconvinced analyst partner) meets Amityville Horror/Enfield Haunting/Exorcism vibe andthat demon creature that came into her room. It attached to her from being exposed to that house infestation and she’s alone with her 4 daughters. 
I have to see where this goes

Off-Topic but I feel like CBS got 5 new shows every two weeks so I don't even bother watching their shows.
Evil is dope. I fell off of it but I’ll rectify that this summer
