Watched "Last House on the Left" tonight, as I try to delve in to Wes Craven's library this month.... Not super used to the exploitation genre but obvs had an idea of what it would be like. The tonality changes swinging between the gang and the parents and the moron cops adds to the nauseating effect. It's got a lot of filmmaking merits but it sure is a downer
