Ghostface back, a mostly black cast and they bushed all the janky bullshyt from the first 2 seasons.

it came up on my IG on a horror fan page. They've been marketing the release of Toy Story 4 with Chucky. In some movie posters they have Chucky mangling the toys and in others, the toys are murking Chucky.
All the kids who were babies when the first Toy Story was released are grown adults now, and this will be the first real Chucky movie they will see as adults. thought that was interesting. I'm getting old
Got the anniversary night of the creeps blu ray yesterday. Movie is still a gem

I rarely do first runs bc people get all geeked in the theater and crowds. Reviews give it a 7/10 which is actually pretty decent as far as horror ratings go. Checking that and Chucky out next week as a double feature. Heard nothing but good feedback so far. They introduce a few new ghost characters too, good expectations.
oh this was crazzzzyyyyy but intense...that revenge spree that her "sister" was on.. sheeesh. I was done after she did that to her friend when she was teaching her how to ice skate. But I started feeling sympathy for her toward the end. Her parents.... uggghhhh, especially her father. Always critiquing her looks - how do you tell your young teenage daughter that she needs plastic surgery and point out all her flaws on her birthday, no less. "happy birthday, sweetie- now let me operate on your in order to make you perfect, as a bday gift"

Her mother was a head case - she didn't stand a chance. all that emotional abuse and her neglectful mom
it all made sense at the end- her twin sister assumed her alternate personality, escapism from the realities of her family
what was the reason for that kid yelling "pancakes, pancakes!! " throughout the entire movie. What was that???
