Nah, I wouldn't say all that. It was a sleeper slasher but top 10 of all time?? is a reach for me. There's more memorable horror movies.
and considering there's classics such as Halloween, Texas Chainsaw, Saw, Hostel, original Friday the 13th, Chucky,The Descent, Insidious, Sinister, IT as far as slashers or gore. Not counting the paranormal and psychological- Huge reach imo. And I think that's a separate category of horror- among B- movie slashers, then I would say top 10.

In honor of the latest Annabelle release - here's a timeline of Conjuring universe timeline-
The Nun – 1952 / 1971
Annabelle: Creation – 1943 / 1952 / 1955 / 1967
prequel to Annabelle, itself a prequel to The Conjuring.
It expands on how the evil doll we first saw in James Wan's original movie came to be possessed, starting out with a car accident in 1943, before moving into an orphanage in 1955
Annabelle – 1967
The Conjuring – 1971
terrifying events take place in the '70s, specifically 1971 as Ed and Lorraine Warren helping out a large family who have moved into a haunted farmhouse
The Curse of La Llorona – 1973 (didn't know this was part of the franchise)
The SXSW premiere of The Curse of La Llorona confirmed that it was actually part of The Conjuring universe.
Set in 1973, we catch up with Father Perez (Tony Amendola) from Annabelle as he chats to Anna Garcia (Linda Cardellini) about that time he battled an evil doll
The Conjuring 2 – 1976 / 1977
The Conjuring 2 saw the Warrens investigate the Amityville house in 1976, before moving on to a case in the UK in 1977, which we knew as the Enfield Hauntings, which is where the potential bed-jumping shenanigans took place.
Throwing in the aforementioned Nun for good measure, as well as a creepy dude known as The Crooked Man

Giving Annabelle time to settle in the Warren family home, Annabelle Comes Home then moves forward a year, ultimately setting the prequel/threequel after The Conjuring 2.
"We cut to a year later, and she ends up activating a lot of the artifacts that are in the artifact room," Safran continued. "It all takes place over the course of one night, involving [the Warrens'] daughter Judy, her babysitter, and the babysitter's best friend (Katie Sarife)."
So much for that sacred glass case, then.
