Nick Frost did a great job but the movie is a slog to get through and the ending doesn't even make any sense

He must need money because he's got 2 more horror flicks lined up

this one looks like pure fukkery

Funeral Home (1980)
or
Cries in the night (1980)

Canadian Horror/Thriller

not bloody at all, but decently acted & paced
not any reinvention of the genre for this period, but enjoyable nonetheless

plot: chick returns home to assist in turning her Grandmothers residence into a bed and breakfast.
it used to be a ............................Funeral Home & shortly after she arrives.... fukkery ensues

MADs was great :wow:

Oddity up next then I’ll check out that Slasher series :ohlawd:
If you enjoy Oddity, the director of that film has another movie on Shudder called Caveat. It's got a very similar style, though it's an even slower burn than Oddity and has more mystery but less scares. It also has an item that makes a brief appearance in Oddity, but plays a bigger role in Caveat.

They've got some pretty good foreign horror, Demian Rugna's best stuff is all available (my favorite current horror director) and Exhuma is a great K/J-Horror (Some Joko Anwar quality is in there too).

And I stan a good possession movie. So if you haven't seen Late Night With the Devil yet, that's gotten tons of love this year. There's also a similar premise but totally different execution in a movie called The Cleansing Hour that used to be on there.

I've watched way too many Shudder drops at this point. I'm damn near a completionist with that subscription :mjlol:

Quick questions for the Horror-Thread posters:
- Do you consume horror content on youtube?
- If Yes, what kind of content? (ie: reviews, recaps, previews, news, scary stories, true crime, etc)
- Is there any content-type you wish there was more of?

I've been juggling ideas for a horror-focused youtube page, but it seems like a very small amount of creators get a lot of views and everyone else struggles to breakout. I have an idea but I think it's probably too niche to get too big, so I'm wondering what everyone else is consuming that engages with horror like we do in this thread.

My idea would be a channel that recaps foreign horror movies, since so many people don't want to read subtitles. But I'd aim for obscure stuff (like Bluebeard and Record of Sweet Murder) as much or more than the popular foreign horror (like When Evil Lurks or Train to Busan).
