The Strangers: Prey At Night is a really fun movie and delivers one of the most beautifully shot chase/kill scenes in slasher horror history in my estimation.I finally got around to watching The Strangers and Escape Room.
The Strangers was great and I wish I saw it earlier. I don't normally like invasion movies but this has to be the best one I've seen. The like because you were home is so great. Are the sequels worth watching?
Escape Room didn't do it for me. It might be because I marathoned all the Saw movies last year. I'm not into the traps from that franchise and even though I don't agree with his ideologies Tobin Bell as Jigsaw makes me a fan of that series. Are the sequels worth watching?
To compare the original and the sequel I would say The Strangers was more A24 while Prey at Night was more Blumhouse. One was elevated/smart horror and one was populist visceral horror.
