The list is ready to go if anyone wants to get a head start marathoning on the weekend. I'm quarantined with the Rona (figures after coming back from Universal Studios' big crowds); so I'll probably be watching a few myself.
I’m about to watch 30 days of Night and noticed it’s not on any streaming platform right now. I have a link to a website that has most if not all of the films on the list if needed:

Possessor pretty solid. Wish there had been more interactions w the family but overall was a good time. I was hooked throughout

I've seen people say that movies today are soft compared to the 80s movies like RoboCop. Now if someone says that you can recommend them Possessor :troll:

It will probably be too much for them and something like Upgrade would be better since it has a more fun tone. Mandy is another film that fits the mold although it's more of a revenge flick and not sci-fi.

I didn't watch Crimes of the Future last night. I had enough surgery gore watching American Mary so when I ate dinner I watched Ashoka and fell asleep.

American Mary

This Movie was good but could have been better. It only cost 3 million dollars and they shot it in 15 days. It honestly should be a lot worse. My main issue is that Mary does a complete 180 after being raped to becoming a sadist almost instantly. There's another time in the movie where it feels like the movie jumps along the plot.

This movie definitely feels along the line of Audition>Hostel>This. The same way The Collector feels like an addition to the Saw franchise. Both movies would be better entries than some sequels to those once dominant horror franchises.

It's a wonderful life if it was a horror movie! 😸

We can add that to the list of slasher movies that take a supernatural or sci-fi idea from a previous movie

Last Action Hero - The Final Girls
Groundhog Day - Happy Death Day
Freaky Friday - Freaky(original name was Freaky Friday the 13th)

Coming up we have
Back to The Future -Totally Killer (releases tomorrow October 6th on Prime)
It's a Wonderful Life - It's a Wonderful Knife

Are there any more?

Taking a break from my FT13 marathon to watch the original 'Pet Semetary' from 1989. I love how fukking creepy this shyt is and it's a slow burn too to figure out exactly what's going on. I think there's a lot of imagery in this movie that inspired other projects for sure. Fred Gwynne is fantastic :rip:

Dark City is basically a horror(ish) version of the Matrix premise.

Not supernatural but Better Watch Out is straight up Home Alone with a sociopath replacing Kevin.

I watched the first 4 so far. Forgot how fun Trick R Treat was. Wasn't really feeling Possessor, i kind of zoned out. Let's Scare Jessica was good and unique.
