Nerds are wild.
you ain't lying
I literally lost friends when Star Trek 2009 came out
I honestly did not care about the whole alternate reality thing and thought the movie was fine.
I got a call from a college buddy and he ranted for at least 2.5 hours:
it doesn't respect continuity !!!!!
(character xxxxx) would not act like that !!!!!, with a break down of every mutha fukkin' character
Gene Rodenberry is rolling over in his grave, etc...!!!!
I was like you still got all the old shows and DVD's , nothing was taken away and it'll probably lead to new tv shows and stuff.
this nikka would not shut up and finally asked me what I thought about it
i replied , "well its probably the best Star Wars since Empire Strikes Back"
Phone was silent for a few minutes , then the fool just hung up.
He did not speak to me for 3 years!
Sohh (or what was left of it) had a mini Nerd war after it dropped, too
some of the people's posts going at each other over that was wild as fukk
nikkas clicked up, started beefing in other threads,
shyt was hilarious to me that on a anonymous HIP HOP message board where only a few people actually know each other and no one is paying any one else's bills (I hope) , this is what you gonna catch feelings over
I mean its just a movie, so i don't care one way or another.
but nothing compares to when the Star Wars A new hope remake, I mean The Force Awakens hit the Coli
I was on a cruise when it dropped in Dec 2015 and wasn't on the coli when it came out,
Opened the Coli after I saw it and was
RAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!
