Checked out a couple movies this week:
Candy Land
I loved this movie.
It was gritty, bloody, violent and grim yet also had a sweet charm to it.
I give 'Candy Land' 3.5 out of 4 Gun-Totin' Dr. Loomis'
There's Something Wrong With The Children
I enjoyed this one despite its flaws. I also thought there was something wrong with the creepy ass kids in this movie from the second they showed up on screen. I need to have a talk with someone involved with this movie about the character of Thomas though because I have so many questions.
I give 'There's Something Wrong With The Children' 3 out of 4 Gun-Totin' Dr. Loomis
Snow Falls
Absolute garbage. The idea that a bunch of aesthetically pleasant looking 20-somethings would go insane from hypothermia while being stuck in a big ass vacation home that lost power for like 24 hours is goofy as hell. Plus no one in this movie could act worth a damn.
I give 'Snow Falls' 0.5 out of 4 Gun-Totin' Dr. Loomis'
The Price We Pay
This one was OK. It's one of those "inspired by Hostel" types of movies only it's set on a fam in the American midwest and the sadistic crew is a weirdo family with an Australian grandpa, a naïve grandson and a giant grand-daughter who's ridiculous size is never explained by anyone in this damn movie.
I give 'The Price We Pay' 2.5 out 4 Gun Totin' Dr. Loomis'
Amber Alert
A found footage film that is basically 90 minutes of dumbass white people who don't know how to mind their business getting what usually happens to dumbass people who don't know how to mind their own business.
I give 'Amber Alert' 1 out of 4 Gun Totin' Dr. Loomis'
