Is Terrifyer any good?

Super light on plot, but it's got brutal kills on practical effects thanks to being a budget movie. I'd place it purely in the cult-hits section where the quality isn't always great but there are certain aspects that stand out and help to get a following (in this case it's Art the Clown being such a dope design and some of the kills being so extra).

VHS:hhh:

....I see why I avoided this long-out-drawn deprive CAC shyt for so long:russell:

Bat Chick:laff:, Glitchy Wood Slasher, and Reversed Haunted House was kind of gnarly, tho:skip:

The wrap arounds always hurt the VHS flicks. There's always at least 2 or 3 good shorts in a VHS flick, but the wrap arounds always suck and drag out the run time.

Alright I'll check it out, Reason I never did was because it resembled a Rob Zombie movie too much. Last good clown horror I saw was Clown

You're not far off comparing it to Zombie, in that I think the Firefly family carry his best movies way more than the plot. For Terrifier; the plot is just driving us from one victim to the next for most of the run-time and it's got super campy acting throughout. But Art the Clown goes off.

Even though I’m still recovering - I Had to come back and post about this Munsters movie before any of y’all get to it

But I’ll hold the L on this - this time and this time only
:francis:
This is what I waited 2 years for.
:francis:
This looks like an after midnight MTV video from when they were still
actually a music television channel from the 80s
:francis:
Rob has his wife playing multiple characters - wtf was he thinking
:deadrose:
This looks like a USA Network up all night movie circa 1996 along with the after effects of a cocaine infused fever dream with the added result of a pill popper’s nightmare
:wtf:

I would have preferred this in black and white bc it’s way too colorful - it’s literally giving me a headache with all of this bright fluorescent lighting .

RZ had a good run up until this movie- I think he took on more than he could handle with limited resources. I’ll leave it at that.

Don’t @me. I’ll roast myself.

How it started 2 years ago for me with The Munsters

How it ends September 2022:

Im going back to sleep- this movie wasn’t even worth waking up from my post surgical tooth pain haze for

Side note - Netflix is a graveyard dump for horror movies. They have actually managed to ruin every franchise movie slated for a large reception to the hate of which I have never seen before . Never seen a tech streaming company implode on itself so prolifically since Redbox beta testing - true fukkin dubs
:ehh:

your updates are the reasons I am not gonna waste my time watching. With that said, going to give the invitation a try tonight. But after barbarian, these horror movies are no longer horror to me. :demonic:

The Invitation isn't even in the same ball park as Barbarian. That's a solid and light popcorn horror movie vs a stand-out for the scariest movie of the last few years.
