Decent movie not going to lie. It's a good flick to enjoy, date movie material.
I enjoyed the cast and the plot and most of the time A24 delivers even though nothing has beaten Hereditary for me.
I know Pete Davidson is easy to clown but he always plays his roles well so I'm a fan.
However, the dialogue in this film was a major turn-off. The film was too on the nose with keyphrases and talking points from this generation; too surface level; almost to the point everything felt like a cliche. Was too CRINGY in my opinion.
I still don't know how I feel about the ending. I'll allow it though. It was different and I can't front that.

I tried watching The Munsters got about half way then stopped because I wasn't comfortable watching it at my desk. I liked the way it looked but most of the jokes fell flat for me. The cgi rats and bats were horrible.
I ended up watching the cgi Addams Family movies and those were really good. Funny for all ages. My man Thing was on his laptop looking at feet pics

Bjorn Andersen, the old dude from Midsommar, is known for being labeled the "most beautiful boy" as a child when he began acting.
The dude went to Japan in his early life, became popular over there, and a lot of mangakas based their characters off him
look up his life it's interesting AF.

Finally saw Candyman. shyt took forever to get interesting. I thought it was gonna be more slasher, but it was pretty solid. I’ll check out the sequels if I ever come across them.

You should watch invitation first, barbarian is a much better movie.your updates are the reasons I am not gonna waste my time watching. With that said, going to give the invitation a try tonight. But after barbarian, these horror movies are no longer horror to me.
