Friday the 13th 1-4 are classics. Best example of how to progress a story thru a horror franchise I can think of. 1: min avenging son, 2: son avenging mom, 3: finds the hockey mask, becomes the Jason we all know now, 4: meets his nemesis and dies.
The rest are trash and fukkery tho. Like, they sent dude to space.

Just watched 30 days of night, never heard of this movie but I just picked a random (free) flick from xfinity. It's a 7/10. Real cool aerial shot of the town showing snow splattered in blood. I like the setting and concept, and I don't know that I've seen vampires be treated so monsterously. Kinda false apart at the end, turns into vampire fight club and evan had to make that call

This got me thinking if I'd rather be attacked by a zombie or a vampire

Guess I'm choosing vampire since i get to be immortal in my current state as well as still have a mind. Which led to my next question, do zombies eventually die? Like when they decompose to a point of being nothing but bone and a puddle of sludge, shouldn't that be the point where they die?

Tommy only mattered in the fourth movie. Grown up Tommy was an annoying waste of space.

He was gonna be "Jason" in six but from what I read the fans (vocal minority, maybe) made a fuss about it. Personally I would've been fine with the change

Watched Fear Inc last night. Wasn't terrible but it was predictable as hell. I also hated the lead character with an unbridled passion. Most annoying character I have seen in a movie in years.

Just didn't really care about the tommy character. He was good for what he was in 4 but I don't really care what happens to him post-Jason. But I guess you can add those into an actual story progressing thru movies. It's once it gets to Jason X and Jason lives where that doctor eats Jason's brain that it becomes pure fukkery

Yeah that's what they were trying to to do, just seems unnecessary to me. You got the perfect ending in 4, just let it be for a few years and reboot it if you're gonna make more.

Anyone watch this? netflix keeps recommending it for me. I watched the trailer and couldn't get a feel for the type of movies it's supposed to be.
