Home video horror you said??
Here’s some choose your own adventure real life horror experiences type vibes:

@storyteller - thought of you as I was reading this.
What was the biggest flop in the theme park history?

The back stories behind failed amusement park rides that failed to amuse

Creature from the Black Lagoon: The Musical
Universal Studios Hollywood, 2009

Universal's attempt to create a comedy musical based on one of its more obscure horror franchises bombed so horribly with audiences that Universal Parks head Tom Williams even joked about it when he was inducted into the IAAPA Hall of Fame. But this isn't just a park's flop, it's a personal one, as well. That's because I appear to be the only person in the known universe who actually thought this production was a good idea.

:deadmanny::deadmanny::deadmanny: I just sent that whole article to the family to see if they remember any of those rides/attractions. That Black Lagoon clip is hilarious!

'The Last Rite' Hulu Review: Stream It or Skip It?

Stream It Or Skip It: ‘The Last Rite’ on Hulu, a Horror Story of Possession and Exorcism That’s a Pazu-Snooze
Another day, another nice lady gets her mind occupied by a demonic entity, in The Last Rite, now on Hulu. This Australian horror-drama tells a story of a BF and GF who are kind of on the rocks and might need a little couples therapy, but they definitely don’t need a shadow-being being one of the things coming between them – a shadow-being who may just need to get hella exorcised right outta there, which implies that he’s maybe a demon. So is he our old pal Pazuzu, you know, Pazooz, Pazoozes, the Pazoozmeister General? Dunno, but he strikes a pose like good ol’ home invader Babadook, Babs, the Dook, the Duke of Dookington, Dook Dook Dook Dook of Earl Dook of Earl. Now let’s see if this movie has an original thought bumping around in its skull.

What Movies Will It Remind You Of?: The Last Rite would really appreciate it if you compared it to The Exorcist and The Babadook, but the reality pie here is, it’s more along the lines of The Exorcism of Emily Rose.

This No Exit movie was dumb

I was with it for the first couple twists, but the hooker from My Name Is Earl being in on it lost me. It didn’t make much sense, and seemed like it was just in there to push the situation along.

Then back to back all time bad horror movie decisions to not just shoot the dude after he accidentally shoots his brother with the nail gun, but then to shoot him right in front of a cop with his gun drawn.

The found the video below disgusting and bizzare when I first saw it a decade ago. I still won't view it after all these years.

That video and the other one (Strawberry Shortcut) were done by an 80s underground video artist named Tom Rubnitz. That's why his videos included RuPaul and other drag queens as the primary actors since those were Rubnitz's people.
Bizarre is a perfect descriptor for Rubnitz's work.

No matter how many times I see it happen I will never not be annoyed by women falling down when running away from the killer.

What exactly did she trip over? It was just her feet and grass. :martin:

Full disclosure here, i trip over my feet, up the stairs, down the stairs, the corner of my bed, on a regular basis. Rushing around or not paying attention. Like I’m wild clumsy - and it seems to happen at the most public and inconvenient at times; especially if it involved playing with my kids and playgrounds. So I can really believe that if being chased by a serial murderer, unknown force or monster- along with the ensuing panic; I would fall every time.

But put me behind the wheel of a car, or if it’s a car chase I’m formula 1 status - I can out drive and out maneuver with precision. Don’t ask me how.

You know what my horror pet peeve is?people bypassing an obvious exit way/ escape door, looking back constantly while they run which slows them down anyway or taking an unexplainable diversion.
