The Collector and The Collection are both nasty, effective horror films about one seriously twisted killer. They came on the heels of the Saw torture-porn horror trend, but are much better than most Saw knock-offs. The second film ended with a direct set-up for a third…but that third Collectornever materialized. But it looks like that’s about to change. A poster has arrived for The Collector 3, and it’s been confirmed that this isn’t some photoshop trickery – the movie is indeed really happening.

horror franchise is soon set to continue with The Collected, with filmmaking duo Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton back at the helm. Horror, more than any other film genre, tends to live and die by the quality of its villain. Sure, there's the occasional franchise-spawning horror hero like Ash Williams, but for the most part, it's the bad guys that draw in horror fans. While not on the level of big guns like Freddy or Jigsaw, The Collector is a pretty great villain in his own right.


Actual plot details on The Collected are being kept close to the vest by Dunstan and Melton, but fans will recall that how The Collectionended sets up a very intriguing scenario going forward. Primary hero Arkin (Josh Stewart), a reformed thief forced to get back into crime to try and pay off his wife's debts at the beginning of The Collector, had succeeded in collecting The Collector, promising to torture him mercilessly and then kill him so he'd never be able to hurt anyone else. Emma Fitzpatrick, who played Elena in The Collection, is also set to return for The Collected, presumably helping Arkin handle his captured villain. In a cool bit of additional casting, genre mainstay Tom Atkins (The Fog, Halloween 3) will also be part of The Collected, but details on his role are under wraps.

That’s one thing I HATED about “the walking dead” - THERES a rapture of demonic zombies around us and we could all be pillaged at any moment- but hey, “I’m attracted to you so nothing else matters, let’s do it” “Linda, I love you and I forgive you for cheating on me “ after the best friend dies. Damn, they can’t even respect the dead. They bury the body in a field and 2 days later its like they never existed.


The “Supernatural” series did this too- Sam and Dean with their romantic dilemmas.

50 zombies surround an abandoned factory building but passion and feelings take over unappreciation moments.

My immediate reaction would be “if you don’t shut up, think of ways to protect ourselves and find us a way to survive this. let’s discuss our relationship status, you know, when we’re not about to die or have something to live for and there’s not an axe murderer trying to cut our faces off “


The Strangers - priorities all of out sync . Dangerously in limbo and love that she didn’t notice masked intruders lurking. Now they want to renew their vows and commitment.
