Yes. I keep 2 locked up in this safe pictured here along with extra clips and couple quick loaders in the bedroom.

Colt
RR

The Colt will hold it's value the best, solely because it's what the military uses. As a civilian we can get better than military products though. The Rock River will have the lowest quality finish of the three.

I'm not quite there yet to where I want to customize and do my own builds . Maybe in a couple of years. I'm still basically a newcomer to the game so I just want something solid and reliable out the case that will last for a while.

Was hoping for $1000-$1200 and I'm now seeing that the 516 is quite a bit out of that range

Stretch your budget a just smidge and get a Daniel Defense. I got one and love it.

Has anyone of you ever had an accident with the gun?

I am getting noid to the point where I want one but it seems to me that bringing such an object into my cypher could increase the chances of innocents getting hurt.

If you are strapped you tend to go toward static it seems. If you are unarmed you would tend to use avoidance, no?

I pretty much avoid confrontation because I know nothing good can come of it.
