Any Cali brehs have recommendations for compliant AR-15 grips? I hate the fin that mine comes with. Not being able to thumb wrap is the WOAT
I'm eyeing these two.

Yes you should tighten your wrist more and improve your grip on your pistol, that will help with the muzzle flip. Also, having the proper grip, will prevent slide bite:

man those first two pics with the X in them. you will snap the shyt outta the meat between your thumbs if you hold a gun like that when the slide recoils. let that happen once, and you'll learn not to do that ever again.

So let me tell y’all about this Loss I just took...

So I was looking at a Glock 45 and a Glock 21 because I was specifically looking for a 45 acp in a Glock...Somehow I ended up purchasing a Glock 45 9mm :stopitslime: . I Should of been paying better attention I had them both in my hands. Like I should of figured the price point was too good to be a 45.

i legit don’t have a 45 at all you prefer 9mm to them? The only thing I can say is at least I don’t have to get a different kind of ammo. And I know glock has a lot of accessories.

Just copped a savage xp, I'm in upstate ny and wanna get something semi auto. Thinking about a Ruger Carbine offa @east recommendation or a featureless ar, Dark Storm in NYC makes them but they are 3%ers :francis:
At least featureless doesn't lock mags:yeshrug:

nice, you can't go wrong with that savage, i honestly have no idea how they're only $300 ish. btw there's a loophole ny has where you can make an ar-15 with all the banned features and the ban doesn't apply because you haven't made a rifle, pistol or "aow." you need:
- a barrel long enough that the overall length from the crown to the end of the buffer tube is more than 26" (12" barrel should be enough, 11.5" with a carbine buffer probably will be too)
- vertical foregrip
- either an arm brace or no stock
the only thing you gotta watch out for is that you gotta build it from a receiver transferred as an "other," you can't convert an existing rifle or pistol.

Any affordable scope recommendations for an AR?

Scope or red dot? a Red Dot is way cheaper than decent scopes. You only need a scope if you're gonna do some long range shooting or think that you might have to do someone day.

If you want a Red dot for quick shots I'd get a Aimpoint T1
