any of yall thought about getting your guns engraved? i was thinking about getting wifey a engraved 1911 for our anniversary. Was thinking about getting engraved "with love" on it with roses around it....

I think about it all the time. I think about about getting custom back plates with the black power fist and stuff. But I'm either sending the gun in or just order the part. Most of the people I'd be sending or ordering from are white and I just don't want to get an email or call having to talk about it or discuss it.
Even though it's a business and I probably won't have to, (I see custom confederate flag back plates and shyt all the time). I just don't want any guff.

Read this a few days ago on WAPO and was going to make a thread but got busy.
With more black people and other minorities purchasing guns, you have to think that "gun control" measures will be coming around the corner....if for no other reason than it's fairly clear whom the NRA favors having "gun rights"
edit - let me be clear. Personally, I think gun laws should be more thorough. I don't have any problems with people owning a weapon. But I feel that background checks and such should be more exhaustive. That said, history has shown that gun rights activists are notoriously absent and silent when it comes to protecting the rights of minority gun owners. Look no further than Philando Castile...

Depending on the price range, there are some nice Turkish clones of Benelli M4s and their automatic shotguns.I haven't but imma peep
If you have the money you can just get the Benellis which has a excellent track record.
