I heard they are a bit inaccurate and I think the AR is still the best mid range rifle to get.

How do you guys feel about silencers for noise reduction in home defense.

Silencers would be helpful in reducing disorientation and definitely would be better than having to add another piece of hardware in a self defense situation.
If you had to chose, silencer would be better IMHO.
