Have you held any pistols to see what you are more comfortable with?
Glocks, S&W, Sig, Springfield XD (my favorite), Stoegar , Canik, and a lot more who produce quality side arms at low prices.
Nice, love the stipelling. I don't mess with semi-autos, but this pistol looks solid.
Trying to get the Smith & Wesson 686 next its $1,000, not trying to spend this money now. I would go semi-auto if I ever conceal carry.

did you have a bad experience with a semi auto? or do you just not like the rounds?
No, I didn't have a bad experience. I prefer revolvers for home protection. Even though shotguns are the best way to go, I like how portable pistols are and easy to keep out of sight for easy access.

Just got my first piece, a CZ75 BD...My instructor is a competition shooter and recommended it. Shot it a few times and I loved the grip & accuracy.

Texas has that law too.
Seems better to me if you were to get a license to wear openly if you want to open carry, to minimize panic, than need one to conceal carry
