You have the 9 or the 40? Had the 9 and sold it and got a Stoeger cougar. Now I'm looking for a bersa Thunder plus for cc. Gonna pick up another sd9ve just cause. Good gun.

I've had some nice ones too. Browning Hi-Power, beretta 92f, G17. Didn't know what I had at the time either.

I picked up the 9 brand new at dikk's Sporting Goods about 3 years ago. It was on sale for one weekend only for $249.00 brand new.
I've put over 500 rounds through it, no jams, ate everything I put in it.

I'm keeping it in my collection though. You can never have enough I suppose.

Went to the range and shot some Glocks. First time shooting guns and plan on getting either a Glock 19 or a Smith and Wesson SD9VE.

Any tips on where to buy the on the cheap end? After market attachments? Anything?

I was reading one of the gun forums and someone made the point that if shyt went bad it would be good to be able to arm people he trusted who didn't have guns, which is why he'd quit buying glocks and was buying up the s&w.

300 can't beat it. Check out the Stoeger.

Now I'm having an Oliver AR-15 custom built.

Had a 17 years ago. Great guns. But look at the sd9ve. Same gun but less money.

Yeah, it's pretty much the 90s Cougar that really didn't take off for some reason or another. Their Turkey division makes it now.
