Oh really?:jbhmm:

Because he JUST fought at the MGM in April & couldn't sell it out:comeon:

The paid attendance at the MGM Grand Garden Arena was 13,046, with a total attendance of 14,665, making for a live gate of just $6,411,584. It's the worst live gate for a Pacquiao fight since he stopped David Diaz back in June 2008, back when he was not the mega-star that he would go on to become after beating Oscar De La Hoya.

Pacquiao-Bradley III lost money, might not even reach 400,000 buys

Swift did 12k vs Guerrero...he would sell out the MGM vs Pacquiao:usure:

You can't name 10 bigger draws in Boxing without mentioning Swift or AB's name. :camby:

They're ducking bc they don't want to take the same deal as Brandon Rios got:snoop::snoop:

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
Floyd was offering :deadmanny: a career high payday got turned down N it was "unfair" "Manny deserves more" "pac brings XYZ to the table"

But now :deadmanny: doing the same exact shyt

"Take the deal" "career high payday" "duck"

Boxing N its fukkery :banderas:

:mindblown:

How is this even a fair comparison when Pacquiao already was a proven ppv star with multiple million+ buy ppvs under his belt?

Compare swift to the 2010 version of Pacquiao brehs :mjlol:

You can't make that comparison though. Floyd and Manny were both solid PPV stars when they were haggling over the particulars for their fight.
A better comparison would be the Floyd/Oscar fight. Oscar was the PPV star and Floyd knew that in order to become a PPV fighter he would need to beat Oscar so he agreed to OScar's demands and accepted that he was going to be the B-Side for their fight.
It is very short-sighted for Swift (and Broner) to try and act like they are on equal footing with Manny. Both dudes should be eager as fukk to get that fight signed because a win over Manny completely changes their career trajectory. They go from being dudes who fight on CBS/Showtime to PPV fighters. A win over Manny means that Danny would then become the A-side in negotiations with any other Welterweight in boxing and that the fight would become a PPV event.

lol no one cares bout that nikka no more since floyd gave him the beats
bob arum used to raping his in house fighters and making them take whatever he offers
give garcia or broner a reasonable amount of money, take your l, make your excuses afterwards about congress or injuries being the reason why you lost, and retire for good:camby:

Canelo is a side over any nikka not named floyd. But will negotiate with manny

canelo has more of a bargaining advantage than swift or broner but if manny says he is not facing canelo at the full 154 limit then thats not going to happen unless canelo wants to make some other concessions..pacquiao is the bigger established draw

now with swift and broner..they aren't established like canelo (due to the fights they have taken) so as i like to say..they gotta earn it...they gotta put the "business of boxing" mentality aside and take the fight OR beat better opponents at WW/or attempt to clean the division out (I.E younger champions start fighting each other) to bring something more to the table..cuz beating ghost or theophane isnt shyt

im still impressed at the numbers broner brought in facing ashley fukking theophane on a friday night on one of PBC's better offerings as a whole..swift not as much or really at all :russ:

There's a big difference in someone knowing their worth and someone looking to cash out
Cash out? Why would a 27 year old coming off a big win be looking to cash out?
It is more that Thurman is confident enough to bet on himself because he knows that a win over Manny only helps his career moving forward.
