Yea you right we will never know but I was trying to get at is that since Canelo has a major push and all the Mexicans behind him he has the funds and the potential views to entice people to fight him most of the other guys don't..I just think Canelo just gets too much credit for his resume. Yea so hes good enough to beat to edge Cotto(so was trout) I feel like he only took 1 risk and that's Lara to me.:manny:

Trout doesn't count cause every 154 and they mama wants to fight him.
Trout was undefeated at the time coming off the big win against Cotto. Everybody wants to fight him now because he's not the same fighter after losing to both Canelo and Lara (getting dropped by both) and struggling against a journeyman.

Tyson Fury a joke man lol. I hope he don't fukk up a future Joshua/Wilder/Ortiz fight by bullshyttin for paydays
I am expecting Fury to still be out of shape by the time the fight rolls around and Wlad wins his belt back by KO.
Dude trying to lose weight by dancercizing.

Philadelphia middleweight Gabriel Rosado, 30, who has twice challenged for 160-pound world titles, has been added to the undercard of the Francisco Vargas-Orlando Salido junior lightweight title fight on June 4 at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. Rosado (22-9, 13 KOs) will face Antonio Gutierrez in a scheduled 10-rounder, although the bout won’t be part of the HBO telecast. After a stretch in which he went 0-4 with one no decision -- all against top opposition, including in title fights against Gennady Golovkin and Peter Quillin -- Rosado looked good in a 10-round unanimous decision victory against former welterweight titlist Joshua Clottey in December.

Notes: Shumenov to defend interim belt Saturday night

I thought he was fighting JCC Jr?:dahell:

I guess this confirms JCC Jr vs Alfredo Angulo:manny:
I thought Gabe was getting the Junior fight too.
Looks like GBP are trying to use him as a stepping stone fight for Gutierrez.

I like that Canelo basically told WBC to kick rocks though:
For the entirety of my career, I have taken the fights that no one wanted because I fear no man. Never has that been more true than today. I will fight 'GGG,' and I will beat 'GGG' but I will not be forced into the ring by artificial deadlines.
I am hopeful that by putting aside this ticking clock, the two teams can now negotiate this fight, and 'GGG' and I can get in the ring as soon as possible and give the fans the fight they want to see.

He can't beat him at 160...but why say you will fight him at 160, to only drop the belt 2 weeks later:martin:

Indefensible:snoop:

If Adrien Broner can fight Marcos Maidana at the full Welterweight limit and not drop the WBA belt, then Canelo (who just SAID he'd fight lil g at 160) can fight lil g at 160 like he said he would because he's "Mexican, and we don't fukk around"
According to the article Canelo dropped the belt to remove the sanctioning body's forced deadline on negotiations. So you can believe him or not but that is an understandable stance to take.

I don't believe him. If that's the case, he would've vacated the belt previously, because even before fighting Cotto, he knew lil g was the mandatory if he won.

Also, he said out of his own mouth he'd fight lil g at 160....so then what's the point of dropping the belt if you're saying that? Negotiations should've went quickly. Don't say "Im Mexican...and we don't f**k around! I'll fight him. I'll fight him at 160" then drop the belt 2 weeks later to try and negotiate a catchweight.

I wonder what Al gave Bob to get him to drop his suit?:jbhmm:

Probably some promise to match up their Welterweights and Super Middleweights together....TR doesn't have many of those fighters as PBC does.

You guys are easily manipulated.

WbC been giving him(and cotto) a pass for not fighting GGG. They even let Canelo negotiate step aside money for ggg to fight Kahn.

They knew they had to fight GGG before they took the fight with Cotto. They had plenty of time to have talks about the possible fight.

And if Canelo wanted to genuinely make the GGG fight they would have extended it... As they have been with Canelo.

Canelo hasn't been forced to do shyt his entire career except fight Floyd at 152.

All his JMW fights for the past 3 years has been at 155....which is MW.

now canelo gotta rush negotiations cause wbc only gave him 15 days to negotiate a superfight:mjlol:.....by dropping the belt he has little g by the balls now. he has all the leverage in negotiations. no belts on the line, now canelo can negotiate strictly off drawing power alone. you notice little g's team now on goldenboy's dikk. even abel sanchez like "I didn't call him a diva cause he's scared, canelo will fight anybody":whoa:.....these dudes nervous as fukk their payday gonna walk away.:pachaha:....they really didn't expect canelo to say fukk you to the wbc. they kept talking about belts and canelo said fukk your belts:camby:.....sanchez and loeffler like chill breh, we can still make this work. we're open to anything:lupe:.....just from k2's reaction alone, you know this was a smart move on nelo's part. they now understand they have NOTHING to force canelo's hand anymore. this was a floyd type move through and through.
