Behind You
You were talking down on Floyd because of the Manny situation just like I was. Now that Canelo is pulling something similar, I cant act different about it.:yeshrug:

I never agree with a fighter avoiding another fighter...look how many back & forth's me and @ChocolateGiddyUp have had about Danny Garcia's potential opponents or me and @seemorecizzy about Floyd's potential opponents.:wow:

That would give me 0 credence to defend this (backing out of a mandatory challenger you said you would fight next at the full limit, to only ask for 2 or 3 more fights before facing him) and 0 credence going forward, because that would mean my stance changes depending on if I follow the fighter or not.:ld:

You were part of the #MatthysseMafia....what would your response had been in 2013 if Danny Garcia vacated his belt and said he needed 2 or 3 more fights before facing Lucas Matthysse? You would've killed him and rightfully so. The positioning shouldn't change just because it's Canelo pulling this move breh...a spade is a spade:manny:

This doesn't look good at all.
See I am willing to give Canelo the benefit of the doubt because dude hasn't shown himself to be a consummate ducker.
I think there will be a one fight gap between the Canelo/GGG fight where they both headline an HBO card against competent but not scary opponents to actually provide a build for their fight which I am fine with. I don't know when the sport got away from building match-ups like they used to do. Everyone wants to rush everything and then act all shocked when a fight with no true hype underperforms in PPV sales or ratings.

I don't believe him. If that's the case, he would've vacated the belt previously, because even before fighting Cotto, he knew lil g was the mandatory if he won.

Also, he said out of his own mouth he'd fight lil g at 160....so then what's the point of dropping the belt if you're saying that? Negotiations should've went quickly. Don't say "Im Mexican...and we don't f**k around! I'll fight him. I'll fight him at 160" then drop the belt 2 weeks later to try and negotiate a catchweight.
Agreed mistake on his part

I didn't tell you to change your stance. i'm telling you all fighters are full of shyt and I give a got damn about little g's feelings when he blatantly ducked ward and went back on his word multiple times. so if anybody deserves to be toyed with, it's little g's punk ass. if you ready to throw canelo in the bushes over this go ahead. I put more stock in what fighter's have actually done in the ring...who they've fought...the risks they've taken. if canelo made a career out of easy fights that'd be one thing, but he's taken multiple high risk low reward fights when he didn't have to...those "do it for the culture fights"....the fights casual fans didn't even watch. and that's why i'm ridin with him no matter what. fighters come out of fights and say things off emotion all the time...canelo aint the first. i'm certainly not about to forget all the times he put his neck on the line over a comment made in the heat of the moment. especially when it came at the expense of a known ducker who's never taken a real risk in his entire career. nope.

Boxing world = the entire Twitterverse.

I don't know if you are, but Boxing twitter has been going in on Canelo for over 12 hours now
:snoop:

HE said he would fight lil g at 160.....why drop the belt then? He was already guaranteed a split of 70/30 in his favor due to if negotiations fell off, it would go to a purse bid.

The only reason he would drop the belt is to try and double back for a 155 catchweight....AFTER he came out publicly and said he wasn't scared and would fight him at 160.
YOur think twitter means anything, nelo still the top draw in boxing.

This fight has been building since Canelo vs Cotto though....we thought it was happening next, but then Canelo and Lil g negotiated the voluntary defenses (Wade & Khan) and then were supposed to fight in September 2016. Nowhere was 2-3 fights down the line AFTER my voluntary was discussed until now supposedly.

This also keeps lil g at Middleweight until late 2017 - early 2018 because he's "negotiated this with Canelo" which means nobody that supports Canelo could say anything about lil g not moving up either:snoop:

Just all around bogus:snoop:

Going by Canelo's current schedule, 2-3 interim fights is September 2017 - May 2018....lil g will be 36 going on 37 by that time.

Canelo said he'd fight him next and at 160 and is now doubling back...it doesn't look good #CaneloCartel or not.
He doing what me and @krackdagawd said he was gonna do either make the fight at 155 or wait him out a few years

Yes, it means a lot, because it's the voice of the Boxing fan breh. More Boxing fans are on social media than not breh.

That was when he stuck to his "155 or nothing:umad:" guns. I was on board with that too. However, he changed his stance and he said himself, no one made it do it, that he would fight lil g next at 160....and then dropped the belt to negotiate more time?:dwillhuh:

That's not something we were saying he would do and Im not giving it the co-sign:manny:

This can be salvaged with a Canelo/160 decent fighter lil g/typical lil g jobber PPV, which ends w g calling cinnamon a coward and canelo responding in his post fight.

Assuming they're already signing the fight.
