Props for rewatching and rescoring the fight. 114-113 definitely ain't a robbery either so I take it, from here on out when you reference these Bryd fights, you'll refrain from acting like the decisions were on some Burton/Augustus type shyt. They were just close fights where the champ got the nod. :obama:

there's still the byrd-golota fight left breh :lolbron:...thats the one ive been really adamant about byrd getting a gift on lol

Mike Alvarado, Juan Diaz Set To Return on March 19 in Houston
Updated at 07:34 AM EST, Mon Feb 1, 2016 Read More By :
By Francisco Salazar

The last time boxing fans saw Mike Alvarado in a ring was in January of last year on the receiving end of a third round knockout defeat at the hands of Brandon Rios.

After spending time away from the ring to assess his personal life, Alvarado returned to the gym recently in anticipation of a ring return.

That ring return will take place on March 19 in Houston, Tex., Top Rank matchmaker Brad Goodman told Boxingscene.com on Saturday night.

"Mike is scheduled to fight at 148 pounds that night," said Goodman.

Also fighting on the Top Rank card will be lightweight Juan Diaz of Houston.

No opponents have been announced yet for Alvarado or Diaz. Both bouts will be scheduled for eight rounds and will air on UniMas.

Alvarado (34-4, 23 KOs) has lost his last three bouts in a row and four of his last five bouts. Alvarado. A boxer-brawler who makes for exciting bouts, Alvarado has made headlines in recent months with brushes with the law and alcohol abuse outside of the ring.

Word amongst boxing circles is the 35-year-old Alvarado has cleaned up and is looking to make one more run at a world title belt.

The Denver-area resident will likely compete at the welterweight limit.

While Alvarado will return almost 14 months after his last fight, Diaz will fight for the first time since September of 2014.

Diaz (40-4, 19 KOs) has been on the shelf since March when he tore the rotator cuff in his left shoulder during sparring in preparation for a world title shot against Takahiro Ao. Diaz had successful surgery and needed to months to rehab afterwards.

The Houston resident has won his last five bouts in a row against modest opposition following his loss to Juan Manuel Marquez in 2010.

Goodman told Boxingscene.com Diaz will weigh 136 pounds for the March 19 bout.

i thought diaz had retired again..didnt know it was just shoulder surgery...like i said if any fighter needs a soft touch or 3 its mike alvarado

Anthony Joshua next fight – rejects Chisora, who gets Pulev

Dereck Chisora to meet Kubrat Pulev but will not be involved in Anthony Joshua next fight, as the EBU confirm ‘AJ’ has not accepted their title match

ANTHONY JOSHUA next fight on April 9 will not be against Dereck Chisora – although the pair may well meet in future – after the unbeaten British and Commonwealth heavyweight champion turned down the chance to meet the former world title challenger for the vacant European title. After Robert Helenius relinquished the belt, Joshua was the first available contender to meet mandated challenger Chisora to settle the championship vacancy. But Joshua has rejected that chance and Chisora will now take on Kubrat Pulev, the dangerous Bulgarian who sits just below Joshua in the EBU ratings. Since both Chisora and Pulev are promoted by Sauerland, no purse bids are necessary and the EBU simply await a date and venue from their team.

“Unfortunately Joshua did not accept to dispute the EBU title.” confirmed EBU General Secretary Enza Jacoponi. “So the vacant title will be disputed between Derek Chisora and Kubrat Pulev.”

So who will face Watford’s “AJ” on April 9 in London? His opponent will be announced by promoters Matchroom this week and umours towards the end of last week suggested France-based Cameroonian Carlos Takam, 33-2-1 (25) in a final eliminator for the IBF title currently held by Charles Martin. Aside from Erkan Teper, whose future is in the balance following a recent positive drug test, Joshua and Takam are the IBF’s highest ranked contenders, so this is wholly feasible. Boxing News has, as yet, been unable to reach either Takam’s manager of the IBF for further comment.

Yeah, go ahead and rewatch that one too breh. :salute:
I had that shyt 116-112 for Bryd and can see 115-113 but I know you prolly have that shyt like 117-111 for Golota. :snoop:

It seems like right after Bryd retired, all your hatred and bias scoring went to plague Swift. :mjlol:

Did you have Bryd beating Tua, or is that another gift decision that you gotta revisit. :sas2:

Why was the Wilder thread deleted? @patscorpio :dahell:

It was some useful info in there and a good interview....if you had a problem with the title you should've changed it or let @Master Teacher change it back to the original title.
