no canelo is lineal because MW is the only division today where WBA, WBC, IBF, and WBO was unified during a fighter's reign thanks to Bernard Hopkins, who understood the concept of taking these nikkas belts so they wouldn't be champion anymore..with no extra BS ..so there is a very clear title lineage at middleweight

Bhop to Jermain taylor to Kelly Pavlik to Sergio to Cotto to Canelo..doesn't matter the belt he had...Jr got his WBC belt from fukkery, nepotism, and a gift decision..no way in hell was he the man at Middleweight with that belt

HBO won't be putting HBO guys against PBC guys unless they get futures on the nikka or if HBO believes 110% their fighter will win

And the fight will have to be on HBO. I have a hard time believing HBO will let GGG, Kovalev, Crawford ect. fight on another network. That seems to be a big sticking point in a lot of negotiations. Kovalev-Stevenson would probably be happening if HBO allowed their guys to fight elsewhere. Kovalev just confirmed it saying he would fight Stevenson...on HBO only.

I am still holding out hope that maybe PBC tries to steal HBO's thunder and take the risk of allowing the Quillin-Jacobs winner to fight GGG. I would love to see that fight. Again, it would have to be on HBO. No way HBO allows GGG to appear on any other network.

Technically because Fury was the mandatory there is no rematch clause. Wlad negotiated one into the contract and had to pay Fury to make that concession.

Lineal champ has nothing to do with the Green Belt bruh. Lineal Champion is a theory as to who is the best fighter in that division and they usally have multiple titles.

Wlad was undefeated for ten years and in that ten years he never held the WBC belt. That fukkin' belt has been past around more than the village whore. From what you're saying Wilder and Stiverne are Lineal Champs.
