The way Wlad fought last week....I believe him when he says he would've KOd him:wow:

Funny thing is, the Fury's caught the mat "trick" K2 was trying to do (had 3 foam mats down instead of 1 and it was 5 inches thick) which would've made it harder for Fury to actually move around the ring.:mjpls:

I wonder how long they've been doing that?:ohhh:

From what I heard, a ring with that much foam makes it feel like you're sinking into the ring on each step, which restricts the "floating around the ring" of Boxers.....which obviously would've played into Wlad's hands and not Fury:sas2:

Fight on memory foam mattresses brehs:wow:

Canvas dispute resolved after Fury threatens to pull out of fight

Yeah that shyt didn't work. Fury was dancing around that ring like Chris Brown in that "Hoes aint Loyal" video.

But I just cant get jiggy with Wilder saying he'd KO Wlad. That's some shyt I gotta see to believe.

If Wlad and em would've had their way, he'd have been standing there receiving that 1-2 demon combination stuck in mud:wow:

It's a pointless fight now, Wlad has 0 belts and is 39 years old, and just lost....Bronze Bomber doesn't need him anymore, because he wouldn't receive any props for beating him:yeshrug:

Klitschko decides on contractual rematch with Fury
After his defeat against Tyson Fury four days ago Wladimir Klitschko decided to exercise his contractual option for a rematch against Fury.

Wladimir Klitschko: “I was really frustrated directly after the fight but after some short nights I now know that I want to show that I am much better than my performance on Saturday. I couldn’t show my full potential at any time. This is what I want to change in the rematch – and I will. Failure is not an option.”

Bernd Bönte, CEO Klitschko Management Group (KMG): “There will be a huge worldwide interest in this fight which already can be billed as the fight of the year in 2016. We received so many questions from fans and journalists after last Saturday. The new champion and his challenger will answer all of them inside the ring.”

K2 Promotions and KMG will get in touch with Tyson Fury’s promoter Hennessy Sports to discuss the next steps, such as the venue and the date of the rematch

fukk it... Fight for the Glory... :mjlol:

I heard since Fury was the number one contender that he doesn't have to agree to a rematch. Has there been any word of a rematch or even Wlad possibly retiring?

Paulie Malignaggi added to Anthony Joshua-Dillian Whyte bill

Malignaggi will fight for the European title

Paulie Malignaggi says he will fulfil a lifelong dream when he challenges Gianluca Branco for the European Welterweight title at The O2 on December 12, live on Sky Sports Box Office.

The Italian-American was born in Brooklyn but spent the his early years in Siracusa, Sicily before returning to the Big Apple, where he has become one of America’s most popular fighters.

Malignaggi won World titles at Super-Lightweight in 2007 and at Welterweight in 2012, and the ‘Magic Man’ is no stranger to boxing in the UK and Europe, having defended his Super Lightweight belt at the City of Manchester Stadium (now the Etihad Stadium) in a rematch with Lovemore N’Dou in May 2008 and winning his Welterweight strap against Vyacheslav Senchenko in the Ukraine in April 2012.

Branco makes the first defence of the title he won last November against Rafal Jackiewicz to become a two-weight European champion, but Malignaggi intends to make his reign a short one and achieve his European title goal at the first attempt.

“It’s always been a dream of mine to fight for the European title,” said Malignaggi. “I’m proud of my Italian roots and I’ve always believed that I would get the chance to fight for the belt.

“British boxing fans are amazing and The O2 is one of the best venues in the world, I cannot wait to get over to the London and put on a great performance for the fans and get my hands on the title. Branco is a quality fighter with a lot of experience, but I believe that I’ll take that title on December 12 and do it in style.”

Malignaggi’s clash with Branco is part of a huge night of action at The O2, topped by Anthony Joshua MBE taking on bitter rival Dillian Whyte for the British and Commonwealth Heavyweight titles.

Chris Eubank Jr and Spike O’Sullivan meet in a final eliminator for the WBA World Middleweight title, Kevin Mitchell meets Ismael Barroso for the WBA Interim Lightweight title with the winner facing newly crowned WBA supremo Anthony Crolla, Liverpool Cruiserweight favourite Tony Bellew faces Mateusz Masternak, Josh Warrington defend his WBC International Featherweight title against Jorge Sanchez and Joshua’s fellow Olympic gold medal hero Luke Campbell MBE is in action.

from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
On the real... fukk that green belt. If I learned anything this past 3 weeks, it's that the Green Belt is the most fukked up sanction in boxing. Worst than the WBA in 70s and 80s. These muthafukkas are blatantly jackin' people and looking at the public like "Aint a damn thang you can do about it :birdman: "
:francis:No belt is worse than the WBA

I said this in the Creed thread but it would prob get a better convo here. I was mentioning how all of the fights in Creed had a claustrophobic feel to them that I don't think any other boxing movie has had up until this point.and that's the exact same feeling I get when I box. Did anyone else feel this from the movie or am I just adding my own shyt into it :heh:
Still haven't seen Creed, but I totally understand what you're saying. Especially if I'm using the high guard or 'mid guard' and am in a defensive posture. Only way I don't feel like that is if I'm trying to fight out of the shell (get my ass beat)
