The RING's ratings panel hasn't been reliable in years. They used to have a large panel putting together their divisional rankings. I think now they only have one guy putting together their divisional & p4p rankings like ESPN.

I thought most people were using TBRB these days

RANKINGS | Transnational Boxing Rankings Board

I seen their divisional rankings used on ESPN & PBC programs...i think HBO & Showtime too. They have a large ratings panel of 25-30 journalists all over the world like the RING used to have. And their rankings are far more accurate and consistent...and they don't recognize alphabet soup titlists...only lineal champs.
let me check where AB is listed at 140 first to see if these are reliable:patrice:

So I checked and......:shaq2:

Under Benavidez, Herrera, and Provodnikov?:shaq2:

The disrespect of AB continues:rudy:

I forgot he beat Pavlik for the belts I thought sergio got vacant titles

to the rest you fukk boys, I can admit when I was wrong

to ignore the fact the fighters care about the WBC belt more than the others is dismissing reality, Wilder spoke the truth, that's the belt they all want
Floyd stated this, broner stated this already publicly

and go to any gym any fighter will tell you this

I get it... Floyd is your end all-be all but fighters care about winning and beating the best. What good is being called a champion of any of the sanctioning bodies if you're fighting window washers and dockmen? This is what is happening to Mike Tyson's legacy now.

Do yall agree with RING ranking Wlad and Povetkin above Wilder?
Espn ranked it with them being ahead as well. They have:
Fury, Wlad, Povetkin, then Wilder.

I don't think it is horrendous. Wilder's resume isn't very good. But it is likely he can have a big 2016 and move into number 2 (I doubt he fights Fury next year, but a win vs. Povetkin and whoever losses the Fury-Wlad rematch he should move above).

Ring still uses a panel. It's just not as broad as it once was.

Thought Fat Dan said it was close to a mil??
I am :patrice: on anything Glaser reports. I know the last few times he posted "insider numbers" he was far away from what everyone else seemed to report.

I think it was him too that said GGG sold 97k on his PPV, where every other reputable source said 150k.
Dan was saying 900k+ and so were some other guys.
We will see if Dan talks numbers in his chat this week and see if he has any new info to change his prediction.

Keep us posted and if you're in there see if you can ask the question directly.

Oh and ask him where does #KronksFinest aka Andy Lee (we don't use the name given to us by our oppressors) fit in with all of this MW shuffle.

Glaser always reports numbers lower then errybody else...he says boxing lies on the numbers N he gives the actual number

He had Floyd vs Canelo under 2 Milly
Floyd vs Chino real low etc etc

the wanna stand in line with greats, boxers always respected the WBC more in the modern era, it's just fact, they want that belt for personal reasons

also the WBC gave canelo 4 days to make the fight with golovkin so much for his lineal belt

Dont think the ranking is crazy or nothing, just inconsistent

I don't even fukk with AB like that anymore but 7th??

He'd wash all those dudes with ease except Postol and Crawford and even with those two dudes, if he fought them 10 times, he'd win 4 a piece.

You stupid muthafukka. It was the WBC Convention. :what:

I'm pretty sure when the IBF and WBA hold their conventions, they could do the same thing if they wanted to.
