I spoke with one of his trainers Mandy “Wiz” Fernandez, a man who got the nickname “wiz” from Muhammad Ali, explained to me that Rigondeaux teaches him something every time he is in the gym.
So on point
nikkas that never even did a sit up "boring zzzzz "
nikkas who actually know how difficult it is to do the shyt he doing
Ditto...you can be skilled but you can also put on DUDs....that Rigo fight on the canelo-cotto card wasn't entertaining at all..when you have a jobber like that in front of you..you put his ass away or at least attempt to do it...its not like Rigo is foreign to the concept..he did just that on his last contracted fight with Top Rank and it was a damned good statement tooI think him and SOG are the most technically sound and skilled fighters but I'd be lying if I said Rigo didnt let me down. I was expecting them Japanese fireworks.

I didn't mind it. I feel the ppv hit from the other angles his fight was cool.
People complained about the Wlad/Fury fight and I enjoyed it too.
Do you really believe that though? I doubt any of that happens. Would be nice if it did though.
Nelson Says HBO Will Have Open Door To All Promoters

One of the big challenges facing Peter Nelson, who was officially announced as the new Executive Vice President of HBO Sports on Tuesday, is how to navigate what has become a very fractured boxing business. As of now, there are two seperate universes that exist, those who are under Al Haymon's umbrella with Premier Boxing Champions and the rest who are with HBO.
Basically rendering some potential fights as non-starters.
Regarding this issue, Nelson told BoxingScene.com - "Look, we're commited to work with promoters who are committed to working with us with the highest talents in the sport in efforts to build them from stars to superstars on a platform that long precedes my arrival, was building stars on the premium level and has been doing so forever.
"So those who have a shared vision are welcome and we look forward to working with them."
Currently the main content providers for the network are the likes of Main Events, K2 Promotions and Top Rank, who have brought them the likes of Sergey Kovalev, Gennady Golovkin and Terence Crawford, among others.
So with that said, are there any entities that are precluded from appearing on HBO in the near future?
"We're open to all promoters," stated Nelson, simply.
Adrien Broner vs Terence Crawford could now hopefully be a reality?

All we can do is hope and wait to see what happensDo you really believe that though? I doubt any of that happens. Would be nice if it did though.
nah you rightI said this in the Creed thread but it would prob get a better convo here. I was mentioning how all of the fights in Creed had a claustrophobic feel to them that I don't think any other boxing movie has had up until this point.and that's the exact same feeling I get when I box. Did anyone else feel this from the movie or am I just adding my own shyt into it
HBO won't be putting HBO guys against PBC guys unless they get futures on the nikka or if HBO believes 110% their fighter will win
