Herring and Lubin on Soliman-Wade undercard

Showtime officially announced a tripleheader for their June 26 ShoBox card headlined by a ten-rounder between former IBF middleweight champion Sam Soliman (44-12, 18 KOs) and undefeated prospect Dominic “Lights Out” Wade (17-0, 12 KOs) at the Little Creek Casino Resort in Shelton, Washinton.

In other televised bouts, former Marine and 2012 U.S. Olympic Team Captain Jamel “Semper Fi” Herring (11-0, 7 KOs) and 19-year-old former amateur standout and unbeaten super welterweight Erickson “Hammer” Lubin (10-0, 7 KOs) will be featured against opponents to be determined in separate bouts.

“We’re very excited to work once again with the terrific Showtime and Little Creek Casino Resort teams on this exciting fight card,” said Tom Brown of TGB Promotions. “Wade vs. Soliman is an excellent crossroads bout. Additionally, Lubin and Herring are two of the best prospects in boxing.”

50 Cent isn't going to lose his biggest boxing star ... despite the fact his promotions company filed for bankruptcy this week ... with Yuriorkis Gamboa vowing to ride with 50 all the way 'til the end. We broke the story ... SMS Promotions filed for Chapter 11 this week ... claiming it wants to reorganize and keep the boxing business 50 started back in 2012 afloat. Well, Gamboa -- a former WBA and IBF featherweight champ -- says he's not concerned AT ALL about the company's financial situation ... saying,''I will support 50. He has always been a good friend and supporter.''Gamboa says he's actively trying to get as much information as he can about the situation -- like any good businessman would -- but says, "Regardless 50 can count me in his corner no matter what.''A few years ago, 50 Cent paid over $1 million dollars to secure Gamboa from his promotional agreement with Top Rank.

i think gamboa likes having one fight every 2 years.. starting to think hes lazy and its not just promoter problems all the time with him

Dude always had the style to be a star, especially down here. Dude should be fighting 4 times a year with at least 2 bouts in South Florida (Dade/Broward) He could actually develop a lil fan base in that area.

I think he's lazy too. nikka really blows up between fights with that Brandon Rios meal plan he got going on. :snoop:
