from the home of coca-cola, i'm not referring to s
I just explained to you that percentage ties into clean punching and effective aggressiveness. percentage tells a lot about who is in control and who isnt when the disparity is wide :what:

I gave you the criteria. If Floyd dominated 3/4 of the criteria, no way you can score a fight for another guy off the 1 remaining criteria unless he overwhelmingly dominated. but that's the pattern these days and its sickening. just because a guy is coming forward throwing a lot of punches doesnt mean he is winning. you are acting as if EA is the only factor.
You have your own personal criteria.. I have my own criteria and the judges have their own criteria.. Floyd was getting bullied and mauled up against the ropes the majority of the fight.. That shyt was effective and that shyt was aggressive.. Maidana landed more power shots regardles of the total punch percentage.. percentage shows the punches landed divided by punches thrown.. nothing more nothing less.. Floyd only won 5 rounds decisively

Maidana/Mayweather was the perfect example of one guy winning the event while the other guy wins the fight.

Floyd won the fight close, but clear. Chino won the event because nobody thought he'd have Floyd looking bad for half the fight. If someone would have told me that Alexander would dominate Chino more than Floyd would I'd prolly say that they don't know shyt about boxing. This is why fights are fought in the ring and not on paper.

Floyd really didn't start finding his groove until the 7th. He was able to land more frequently, but still not to the extent where he was buzzing or halting Maidana's aggression. A lot of Floyd's counters didn't stand out as much because they were in between clinches, rough housing, and being on the ropes so I can understand if that gave people the impression of Maidana doing much better than he actually was.
This fight resembled the first Tarver/Johnson fight. Glen bullied Tonio all over the place and was the aggressor throughout the fight. Tarver would land some nice counters and flurries every now and then, but he'd still end up giving too much ground and getting bullied into the ropes.

When the rematch came, Tarver got off first instead of countering which allowed him to back Glen up. He also threw way more punches so it never became a close physical war. Sometimes you just gotta punch nikkas off of you. shyt is basic, but it keeps dudes from being in your grill all night.

:blessed:

Might be true....but Broner losing to Garcia won't be as bad as if Garcia lost to Broner.

Garcia would immediately be labeled a bum if he lost to Broner:mjpls:

Besides Garcia would be the favorite, and rightfully so, so Broner and Garcia would have the same amount of pressure to win.
