fukk the narrative around that. Bomber was in that fight the whole time, Campbell was as exhausted as he was, that's why that bum had his hands down so low.

Respect but nah. Saw that fight live. Before the fight thought Nate would give him the business and he did. Watching it live especially but even after, Nate had a moment where he was beating him so bad he basically thought the fight was over and it would have been in a few more secs/min. You can tell Nate like others have done that before particularly in the ams but I am willing to bet he did it before in the pros.
On the flip side as I have said on many occasions a lot of times a big loss can get you opportunities that continually winning cannot. Nate went on to beat the GREAT Juan Diaz. The only thing is I remember it was some politics that prevented him from securing another big fight… maybe against POPO?
Ended up having a better career than Tua lol. Tua’s biggest win was against Ruiz and Rock (who Ruiz beat). Has a win over Holyfield, Kirk Johnson, McCline and a NC with Toney fwiw
Was just about to post this. Ruiz doesn't get enough credit for being tough as hell.

years ago i was messing around with somebody who john ruiz happened to be a friend of her family...she brought him up and i started ripping on him before she told me that...nearly talked myself out of getting any haha
