This is true, but Hatton never had the same strength at 147 that Maidana had though.
The only fighter I currently hate is Broner.

Rabbit punches happen because of the way Floyd turns his head. But some clearly done on purpose. Floyd knew what type of fighter he was.

man that fight thread is something else..i actually kept it on the level in there except for me having to tell that little emotional nikka Born2BeAslave to stop being butthurt because I think he doesn't know boxing lol. Only the floyd and pac threads bring these nikkas out of the woodwork.
now we can compare this card with Pac-Bradley 2. Point blank the floyd-maidana undercard was the drizzling shyts. Pac-bradley first 2 undercard fights were a lot better and competitive.
But Floyd-Maidana was the better main event fight than Pac-Bradley 2. I'm downloading this fight as we speak and I'll prolly watch it again to see if I'm swayed from my initial score of 115-113 for Floyd.

eh at this point it is debatable..but then I think hatton was always a little overrated...i didnt forget that collazo fight

I dont believe this. especially not at WW. Maidana was the better all around fighter. Ricky only had that body shot. Maidana is unorthodox, good puncher, strong, and his speed isnt bad at all. Ricky was good at 140 where he could manhandle guys...but he noticeably had a disadvantage when he moved up. I think Hatton was better in some ways but overall, I think MM was better. Dont think Pac could do Maidana like he did Hatton either.
dont do it to yourself breh. by downplaying Floyd's performance you are downplaying AB's performance. looking back, AB fought more like "a man" as MM said Floyd didnt in the post-fight. the Broner fight sans the KDs was a great offensive fight from AB....just horrible defense
the difference in this fight is Floyd's defense. it just goes to show that styles make fights. I dont necessarily think Floyd does better in a rematch...it could look identical. MM generated enough effective aggressiveness to win rounds.....the clean punching, ring generalship, and defense categories all went to Floyd. he was never in any real peril.
How am I down playing Floyd's performance?
Manny beat a better fighter 9-3 in the 1st fight and 8-4 in the 2nd fight.....Floyd won at MAX 7 rounds against a lesser fighter in Maidana.
If Pac was in there instead of Floyd and the same thing happened, nikkas would be talking bout Pac's washed up and looked average as fukk

Im giving Floyd the fight you goof.. Can u not read? I HAD FLOYD WINNING 7t5.. I absolutely disregard overall percentage because thats now what you go by when scoring each round(history should tell you that). Floyd was 1-2 rounds away from losing the fight(regardless of his punch percentage)
idgaf what you are giving Floyd. he was never in any real danger of losing this fight past the early rounds where you had to give Maidana those rounds because he outworked and outlanded.
