Honestly I dont even care that much for the Pac/Floyd fight anymore.. But I would get much enjoyment watching Pac whoop Broner ass

no it couldnt. not unless you just giving more credit to the underdog than you should be.

when the fight was on the ropes, Maidana won a lot of that action, but when his arms got heavy later in the fight, Floyd won all the action off the ropes because he was actually landing clean counters while Maidana wasnt landing like he was earlier.

now take in consideration that Maidana NEVER won any part of any round while they were in the center of the ring and it should be clear who the better man was still. MM did good but boxing is still scored off this

criteria: Clean punching; Effective aggressiveness; Defense; Ring generalship

Maidana won the effective aggressiveness area except in the later rounds where he wasnt landing clean and getting countered off the ropes. Floyd won the other 3 categories in every round. The effective aggressiveness worked but it wasnt enough to score a draw or win on 12 rounds.

Floyd won 7t5... fight could've easily been a draw or went the other way.. im talking before the fact not after

Real talk......Pacquiao looked better in either of his 2 fights against Bradley than Floyd looked against Maidana

dont do it to yourself breh. by downplaying Floyd's performance you are downplaying AB's performance. looking back, AB fought more like "a man" as MM said Floyd didnt in the post-fight. the Broner fight sans the KDs was a great offensive fight from AB....just horrible defense
the difference in this fight is Floyd's defense. it just goes to show that styles make fights. I dont necessarily think Floyd does better in a rematch...it could look identical. MM generated enough effective aggressiveness to win rounds.....the clean punching, ring generalship, and defense categories all went to Floyd. he was never in any real peril.

you dont know how to score fights then breh. total disregard to high connect percentage vs low. there is an exception to the rule...when lower connect percentage hurts or does more damage to opponent. never saw Floyd hurt in this fight. you dudes is dumb just basing wins and draws off sheer aggressiveness. Floyd landed a few punches more at more than twice the percentage. if Maidana aint hurt him then all that other shyt u talkin is pure conjecture.

after round 5 imo floyd won every round other than the 11th that i had a draw. he also won round 2. round 4 was very close but i gave it to maidana

116-113 floyd. close fight but he won. closest i could see people have it is a draw tbh

Im giving Floyd the fight you goof.. Can u not read? I HAD FLOYD WINNING 7t5.. I absolutely disregard overall percentage because thats now what you go by when scoring each round(history should tell you that). Floyd was 1-2 rounds away from losing the fight(regardless of his punch percentage)

Watching live I had it 8-4 Floyd. I gave Marcos 1 5 8 11 rewatching it for the third time I got it 9-3 Floyd, couldn't give Madaina the 11.

Maidana fought well, but he fought the dirtiest I ever seen him fight. He threw lotta low blows (3 hit FLoyd), headbutts, a knee strike, and he was never deducted a pt. Not even gonna mention the rabbit punches when Floyd was ducking on the ropes
