Lara. Makes the most sense. Molina is dealing with legal issues at the moment. The Charlo brothers aren't ready for that. Kirkland makes sense, but I doubt he'd wanna do business with GBP again.
I would, fukk Ishe SmithLara. Makes the most sense. Molina is dealing with legal issues at the moment. The Charlo brothers aren't ready for that. Kirkland makes sense, but I doubt he'd wanna do business with GBP again.
Only thing that complicates this is that Lara has a fight with Ishe in May. Is that enough time to prepare? Maybe he pulls out of the fight for Canelo?![]()
thanks man. I am trying to drop a lot of shyt when I go to events
Lara gonna beat the shyt out of Ishe--is there a belt on the line? Why are they fighting?
punch stats are just a guy in the back nobody even knows about or has ever heard of pressing a button. the punch stat person is not a boxing person or someone that comes from boxing its just somebody that works for the tv network doing a job. punch stats cant measure if a punch was just a grazing shot or if it was a shot that really hurt a fighter. its all the same to the person pressing that punch stat button which means its all just empty numbers and cant really tell you about a real fight. its an attempt to try to turn boxing into a sport but boxing at the most basic level is not a sport the way basketball or baseball is a sport. you cant play boxing. punch stats dont really mean anything some things you just got to pass through your eye test and knowledge on what you know about boxing.Because compubox is always correct right breh?Because compubox shows defense and ring generalship. There's multiple things in scoring a fight breh.
You ever hear of Fight Promoter University, which is a 3 day seminar in Irvine, CA where they try to teach all aspects of the business & bring in guys to talk about the game like Jim Lampley, Richard Schaffer, etc?

Only 12 per cent of boxing media agree that Danny Garcia deserved to beat Mauricio Herrera
Bobby Hunter investigates the controversial scoring of Danny Garcia's latest victory
IT was meant to be a Homecoming Party for Danny Garcia, fighting for the first time in his father’s birth place of Puerto Rico. The party nearly became a nightmare as unheralded Mauricio Herrera pushed Garcia all the way before losing a hotly-disputed majority decision. In his post-fight interview Garcia said that he would talk to his team about a probable move to the welterweight division, and that he had been fighting at 140lbs for years. It had certainly been a lacklustre performance by the champion, as he allowed Herrera to dictate the pace of the fight. Garcia had looked lethargic from the first bell as Herrera grew in confidence round after round.
Herrera, of California, was boxing well, mixing up, and by moving in and out of range landing sneaky right hands off some harmful jabs to the body. The challenger’s speed was certainly a problem for Garcia, his father and trainer colourfully yelling at him between rounds to up his work.
As the fight entered the championship rounds on my card I had the fighters even. There was open scoring for this bout, certainly a talking point that some are for but many are against as it can have too much impact on how a fighter boxes the remaining rounds if he knows he is miles ahead. Garcia was ahead on the judges’ cards but that didn't stop him having his best round of the fight in the 11th. Herrera did respond in the 12th as he took the fight to the champion, determined to make sure he had scored the upset.
Herrera was to be disappointed. Two judges (Carlos Colon and Alejandro Rochin) scored this fight 116-112 for Garcia. Certainly far too wide for such a close fight. The judge that came out with most respect was Gustavo Padilla who had the fight a draw at 114-114. Garcia remains the champ although his time at 140 could be over with only an unification against Lamont Peterson a possibility. Herrera will hope to remain in the mix for titles, whatever happens to Garcia.

they have something like that?![]()
yeah breh. they sent me an invitation to it when it first started up. I think it was like $2500 and it was a 3 day course. the one day you did class stuff, another day for hearing speakers and one day you work an actual fight that they put on. its Roy Englebrecht who does it. He started it back in 2006. (for those who dont know, GBP purchased Englebrecht promotions when GBP first opened and Englebrecht was the first COO of GBP.)
http://www.fightpromoteruniversity.com/
just checked the website and they have online course now
I still want to go out and do the class in person. I think it may be a lot cheaper now then when they first started. Plus its expanded. They do MMA and all now. It was a great idea for Roy to start this and he has been making money from it ever since. I just hate that I missed it the first couple of years and time has flown by. now you got people attending it from different countries.
after I buy my new spot this year and get that outta the way, I am going in December. maybe one you may go too!![]()
