broner vs john molina would be fine as a standalone main event on regular showtime but its not going to convince me to drop 75 bucks for this damn ppv lol. its a decent comeback fight for broner though if its legit..i can only imagine the fukkery if molina find his chin like he did mickey bey's last summer :russ:

Yeah, HBO doesn't even wanna pay Ward his headlining fee.
He is the best boxer at 168, I think he wins vs. GGG and if anyone has the skills to nullify the power of Stevenson and Kovalev it is Ward.
But there isn't a lot of incentive to fight him. He in himself isn't a big draw. GGG keeps saying he'll stay at 160 - he can get the same money and possibly more if he gets Sergio. JCC has been a draw himself and can make good money without facing him. It sounds like he'll go after the Froch-Groves winner. And LH is loaded with good matches for another year or two - they don't need Ward.
Ward may be the toughest opponent out there for each guy, but each fighter can take a bigger money fight against a quality opponent and not have to face Ward. Hell, even Froch said I'll fight you again, but come to the UK. :jawalrus:

Ward is the best fighter in that weight class, 2nd best P4P...but no one NEEDS him right now. He and Rigo should get together and share a beer about how no one appreciates their skills. :russ:

I love Ward's skills...but he overestimates his value in comparison to public demand.

ward might have to pull a shane mosley and go in the ring after these dudes fight:manny:

Broner: I'm Ready To Beat The F*** Out of Khan

Article Link -http://www.boxingscene.com/?m=show&opt=printable&id=75279#ixzz2v2GoZK6w

A few days ago, Floyd Mayweather Jr. floated the idea of having Amir Khan fight Adrien Broner on his upcoming Showtime Pay-Per-View undercard. Mayweather faces Marcos Maidana in a welterweight unification on May 3rd from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Mayweather promised Khan a future fight - if Khan defeats Broner. Khan is skeptical of the promise, but Broner feels the Britsh star is easy work.

"Khan ain't sh*t! I'm ready to beat the f*** out of Amir Khan," Broner stated on the social networks.

Khan had hoped to face Mayweather in May, but the pound-for-pound king felt Maidana was the more deserving fighter.

You are FAR from considered some type of boxing authority around here, like I gotta prove something to you:heh:

Asking me "what I am pursuing":rudy::what::dahell:

You lucky we even allow you to post in here lil nikka:ufdup:

You better be grateful and play your position while you in here. Your boxing knowledge is still suspect lil nikka:pacspit:

LIKE I SAID, I believe Marcos Maidana is a better boxer than Lucas Matthysse and their resumes prove it to me thus far

I'd rate Maidana over Matthysse as well. I mean dude ain't leaps and bounds above him, but I feel he's a slight notch over dude. Maidana beat the better names and fought the all around better comp. Lucas just got his 1st big win last year against Lamont. I mean damn, Maidana took Ortiz soul away years ago and was stilling getting decent victories after that.

As far as their amateur bouts, I feel Maidana's natural aggressiveness is what prolly got him them wins in their match ups. Lucas just recently started jumping on dudes out the gate, just in a more calculated way. Imagine if he wouldn't have taken 6 or 7 rounds to get going against Zab and Devon. He prolly would have won those bouts. (I felt he lost to Zab, but edged out Alexander but it wasn't some big robbery like cats try to make it seem.) Maidana prolly bombs Judah outta there early. We saw what happened against Alexander, but styles make fights and his wide open aggressiveness played into Devon's style and it was his 1st fight at 147 too. Lucas has a more linear attack which is good for guys who like to move sometimes because you can catch them on the end of your punches if you got good timing.

It's like nikkas love taking 2 B level fighters and try to make it seem like their worlds apart in skill when in reality it couldn't be closer. Remember nikkas were doing that with Paulie and Maidana and at first glance it looks like Paulie got more skills, but when you check resumes Maidana has beaten the better fighters.

They really trying to push Broner/Molina as a co-main event?:stopitslime:
I wouldn't even watch Broner/Molina live if was on Showtime let alone pay for that nonsense. It would be straight DVR status.
This PPV is shaping up to be horrible.
