Pascal ain't sound like he want it with Stevenson :pachaha:
Not one single bit. Goddamn Bute is trash. I remember when HBO/SHO had him on the bum tour and he was knocking out guys with body punches and apparently 'dre was afraid to fight him. :heh:

Holmes my dude, but he's talking out his ass.

What the hell is he talking about? He's not privy to Mayweather's expenditures. Besides, it seems like Mayweather has scaled down on all his "flossing" the past couple years:patrice:

floyd has scaled down on wearing the slave chains and nikkka trinkets but he still out here spending gwap, anybody here in vegas can tell you that. i don't think larry is hating are wishing the downfall on floyd but i hear where he coming from.

nobody is his accountant but i laugh at the people who say he can't go broke. son owns a jet, 20 cars and having 50k bills at the club for buying out the bar shyt, spending money on model bytches . when larry said "money can't buy friends" he's right. if you ever get the time to come to any of the legendary gym here in vegas, even go to johnny toccos and ask about floyd. 10/10 everybody will say he's a good dude, maybe too good to the leeches around him. i respect him for taking care of his family (his bm's) even the boys and girls club and homeless out here which he NEVERS get credit for but all them groupie nikkkas wearing tmt shirts that hang around the mayweather gym don't give a fuk about floyd. and eating off son heavily with the trips and cars. theres been times when i have defended floyd because son does alot of underrated work for the community outside of boxing but the leech ass nikkas :smh:

Ward aint gonna fight Pascal unless jean comes to 168 and the fight is in Oakland. I am not making a joke about it either. Until I see otherwise, I am sure those are the terms fighters will have to accept.

lol, i think dre is a guy who gotta be in control when it comes to negotiation a fight but if the money right i believe he he'll come to montreal to fight pascal. if he was with arum i think the fight comes off.

Yeah, for someone who hasn't seen Pascal (me) he is a bizarre fighter to watch. He fights in an athletic style...but somehow doesn't look that athletic and more like just awkward. He only fought in bursts, yet somehow managed to look winded. I would be interested to know more about his past fights because his % of punches landed vs clean punches landed vs Bute was horrible.
He definitely looks like a talented or skilled fighter would just walk right through him...but looking at his record, that hasn't been so.
That's how he typically fights. He's a big puncher but he doesn't measure distance very well cause he's constantly whiffing or cuffing guys with overhands and hooks instead of touching their chin.

He's also notorious for his poor cardio. He faded badly n both Hopkins fights and the Dawson fight.

We'll see. Ward has talked about offering Froch's team to fight him in England and how they were like :whoa: and ain't really want it.
Now, he says he would never fight Froch in England after the Groves fight. :heh:
I think he would go to Montreal if the money was right. 175 though, :yeshrug:
There's not many guys left for him at 168 though. I know he wants that Chavez fight but it remains tro be seen if Chavez can get that low again and Chavez has a fight in March. So, that would be a long wait. Maybe take on Tommy Oosthuizen in the meantime just to keep busy.

:flabbynsick: the prophet called Tyson's downfall before they fought. He knows his shyt

going to watch last night fight again, i didn't think pascal cardio was bad last night. going into the six i thought if there's anytime for but to make a rally it's now because of pascal history of his fading stamina. pascal is a man with alot of options, i don't see why he SHOULD HAVE to fight out of montreal.

The Pascal of last night would've whooped the Pascal that fought Hopkins (2), Dawson and any other version. The disrespect of competent training and corner men is disgusting. fukking clowns probably think Emanuel Steward is just as good as Joe Schmo trainer :snoop:

Or even worse, probably think they themselves can do what great trainers do, retarded.

In other news.......

fukk I'm losing on throwdownfantasy :sadcam:

EDIT: That's what I get betting on a caucasoid though :manny:

I feel this post is directed at me. What I'm about to post is all logic & common sense

Pascal has been fighting since he was 13 years old. He's a 31 year old man now. His habits are set. Your not gonna change what you've been doing for 17 years in a 8 week training camp.

Hopkins & Dawson are both better fighters than Bute. He's suppose to look better against Bute. His performance against an UNDEFEATED Dawson (a fight no one thought he was gonna win) was much more impressive.

Do I feel Roy added anything to Pascal's camp? Absolutely. I know there was an emphasis as far as having Pascal pace himself. I believe Roy gave him a lot of pointers as well. Polished him up. I believe most importantly he gave him more confidence than anything. I also know a lot of that shiit goes out the window as soon as your in there with a world class opponent. It's not like he has the luxury of being in an Amir Khan situation where he's "practicing" what he's learned against Diaz & Molina.

As a result, I don't see this HUGE difference that your seeing. As more training camps go by, perhaps in the future.

Ward has truly pimped the boxing game

Had his career guided beautifully by Goosen, who was able to take advantage of the fact that he was a "green" fighter that supposedly had no chance to win the SS6 tournament, so the other promoters involved just didn't seem to care & he got all his fights in the US

Won the super 6 & jumped to the bigger network

Got a nice HBO commentating gig so he still has income coming in between fights

Sits back at 168, waits, very meticulous, carefully picks his opponents. Any future opponent just needs to know that the fight will be at 168, in Oakland, with the ring size chosen by Team Ward.

Is currently suing the promoter who was instrumental in guiding his career, to get out of the contract, in search of a more powerful promoter

Has J Prince to watch his back if shiit goes down.

Looking to possibly start his own promotional company

Will most likely retire with health fully intact

The fact that this man knows how to play the game, along with being an elite fighter is gonna make him extremely hard to beat.
