Former two division world champion Paulie Malignaggi (33-5, 7KOs) is looking for much bigger things as the year closes. This past weekend, Malignaggi turned back the clock and dominated fellow former champ Zab Judah at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Now with powerful adviser Al Haymon by his side, Malignaggi wants the winner of the Adrien Broner and Marcos Maidana showdown, which takes place this weekend. But another fight that interests Malignaggi is a clash against WBA/WBC 140-pound champion Danny Garcia (27-0, 16KOs), who is likely heading to 147 next year.
"Danny is a solid world class fighter and he's a big 140-pounder, so I expected him to eventually move up to the welterweight division. I have a lot of respect for him. So yeah, if the money is there. I'm not arguing with Danny and his father. Don't expect that. I have a lot of respect for them. It's an interesting fight at 147 but so are a lot of others," Malignaggi told BoxingScene.com.

I believe Pauletta would beat him via decision by outboxing him. When you come into a fight and your only chance of victory is via KO (because you cannot outbox your opponent) and your opponent has a great chin at that.....do not take that fight. It's a trap fight for him.

If you knew the strengths and weakness of your fighter, you would know that a Pauletta fight is not a good style matchup Garcia.
Paulie has the better jab, footwork, punching output, punching accuracy, combination punching, hand speed, foot speed, longer reach, they have equal chins, same height, and are about equal defensively.
Danny has more power.
#swiftset shouldnt take the fight, because it really does nothing for Garcia and they would be better off facing someone that Garcia can look great against if they trying to make him the next fighter for Floyd. A fight against Pauletta isnt a good choice and a fight he can possibly lose because of how their styles matchup.
Me not knowing the strengths/weaknesses of a Garcia, just know watch the Khan fight and see what happens when you flail away weak powder puff shots at Garcia..................Earrrrly
Just worry about Madiana, if the Broner of the Paulie fight shows up he's getting Ko'ed..................................
