WBC heavyweight champion and opposition party leader Vitali Klitschko defused a potentially fatal confrontation between protesters and police on Sunday in Kiev, Ukraine. Protesters were planning to storm the Presidential Administration building, but Klitschko forcefully warned the protesters to get back and not fall into a trap. With that, the mob scene broke up. Klitschko is running for president in the next election and showed real leadership here. (Big thanks to Andrij)

#2 ranked Super Flyweight Juan Carlos Sanchez Jr. vs. Zolani Tete

Upset of the year? :dwillhuh:

But why did the ref stop it though? The guy got up @ 9. He clearly just wanted to take as much time as possible

Kovalev is a beast but who's his best win? Cleverly?? He's a come forward aggressive fighter that would get viciously countered by Stevenson

I agree in that Kovalev has looked beastly, but he hasn't fought anybody of enough consequence to really determine where he is at. I also think Stevenson has had a perfect road without too much resistance to gain his status as well.
Matching them up, I think a lot has to do with what quality of chin Kovalev has. Stevenson will absolutely be able to counter Kovalev. If Kovalev can handle the power pretty well, Stevenson's overall boxing skills haven't looked that impressive to me (other than his counter ability) and he will be able to hit Adonis, who I think can be hurt by hard punches.
A fight between them will be great, because IMO at this point they would be each others best opponent and give us more clearly an idea of how good they are.
